PAST HISTORY : Diabetic since last 10 years. Fassting Blood Sugar is 110-125.After 2 hous of lunch it is 160-180.

is it becase of that i feel tired?

Hi,

Tiredness has a variety of causes and might just be because of sudden raised blood pressure which you might not be having previously or you might be having some hormonal changes or may be fever,may be stress which might be family or work related.it can also be due to that sugar might have been a little uncontrolled in last few days days.
So it is difficult to comment without examining you.
Are you having any kind of fever ?
Concentric lvh(left ventricular hypertrophy) means that your heart is under sustained pressure to pump the fluid present in your body.That may mean you might be having raised blood pressure(which you did not mention) when did you get your b.p checked last ?(or are you having b.p) and if not then get it checked and mention it please.

My sugar level fasting in last 6 months is 110 to 130. Yesterday I had checjed my bp it is was 75 /124. I do not have any high bp history. As may be because of stress...travelling...

Hi,

Usually concentric hypertrophy presents with hypertension,however if you do not have hypertension and there was no other significant finding on 2d-echo like any regurgitation or any stenosis is not mentioned in your report(as you did not mention anything), even then i would recommend you to get your self checked up by a cardiologist because it could be a cardiomyopathy(because there has to some reason why your heart is enlarged) and least you should get your self checked up to confirm everything is alright .

I hv been having problems of dizziness, and spinning sensations since last 4/5 days. Had the same earlier abt 2 yrs back but on a very mild scale and they went away without any medication. This time it has been rather acute. Visited the physician and hv been prescribed Vertin 8 mg 1x3 times a day before bkfst, lunch and dinner. After three days feeling better but the sensations are still there albeit milder. Feel the spinning sensation especially when I look straight up/down and then bring the head back to normal posn.Again when I am changing sides on bed while lying down from left to right rpt left to right I feel the same sensation. Tho' the dizziness and the spinning sensations are less now after taking the dosages of Vertin 8 last three days would u hv any advice as to how long it takes normally for the problems to be totally eliminated? I am particularly concerned as I am, tho' a retired person, a man of fairly active habits and for the various domestic chores often hv to drive quite a bit in heavy city traffic and as a result of this problem am completely grounded which is affecting our day-to-day life styles and needs.

Hi, I stared the HCG diet 10 days ago using the drops. I also am trying to have a baby so I had sex three times during the week of ovulation. Last period was on January 8. I have had pregnancy symptoms, five positive pregnancy tests, no period. I did have some spotting but it was brown which makes me think that I am pregnant. I am not sure if it is the HCG drops causing a false positive test. Last night I put some of the drops on a pregnancy test and it was a faint positive. My dr. recommended a blood test and then another 48 hours later. I have poor insurance coverage as I am a business owner, and I don't want to spend the money on the blood tests this early. I usually have a 28-31 day cycle. I am thinking of just waiting a couple of weeks, I live a healthy lifestyle. Advice, sorry to ramble on. Jaclyn

Hi Jaclyn!! your issues as to whether the test for pregnancy is actually positive or not are actually confirmed by the serum beta hcg which if doubles in 48 hours means a viable and growing pregnancy. please get the blood tests for the pregnancy done as told. My father had black stools (upon test it had occult blood), they did endoscopy and found an ulcer in lesser curvature. they did sclerotherapy. after couple of days the stools were normal in color. he got discharged. biopsy showed H.pylori and he was given h.pylori kit, orafer xt and cobadex since he had become anemic. after 2 days he fell unconscious, pissed in pants and later passed stools brown again. hospitalized him again. occult blood was present in stools from tests. they did endoscopy and found no bleeding from ulcer where sclerotherpy was done. everything normal in the stomoch and in both duodenum. he is still passing brown stools. donot know why ? please give your opinion.

Hi, Brown coloured usually may be even normal because of a little high billirubin content in stools. But there is also occult blood in stools so the blood must be coming from some place(intestines,stomach,duodenum) and it has been seen by a endoscopy that your oesophagus and stomach and duodenum are normal,now there can be blood from other sites, from lower gastro intestinal tract (colon,rectum).
