Hello,
Periods can vary sometimes and be different than usual and it is still safe. On the other hand to be sure you are not pregnant you need to do a urinary test. If the urinary pregnancy test comes out negative (which means you are not pregnant- this means it shows only one line) than you can repeat it in 2-3 days to make sure. If it is again negative than you are not pregnant.
If your periods are irregular for more than 2 months and your pregnancy tests come out negative you will need to see your doctor and have the proper examinations to find out why your periods are not as usual.
If the pregnancy test comes out positive please take folic acid 400 mg a day to have a healthy pregnancy and see your doctor as soon as possible.
