hello
if its repeated symptoms, then its probably GER. it can be treated with Lanzol Junior tablet or sachets daily and propped up position while sleeping. Consultation with pediatrician is necessary and evaluation with Xray chest or GER scan can be done. Treatment with Zifi might not be required if there is no fever or infection.

Hi,
Your daughter is unlikely to have gastroesophageal reflux because this disease is usually present in children less than one year of age and in 95% of the cases it resolves by 15 months. So if by 20 months your daughter is still having vomiting once or twice a month when she's asleep she needs to be worked up fully. I would suggest getting an ultrasound of the abdomen and opinions on a test done. If these two are normal than an upper G.I. endoscopy is suggested. Zifi Is just an antibiotic and is unlikely to help in vomiting unless the vomiting is due to an underlying infection which is unlikely in her case because it is happening again and again.

If it seems to be responding to nexpro then could be gerd.
it is not due to cold etc. but due to a temporary weakness in the junction between the food pipe and the stomach
