Hi,
Its been how many days since you missed your period?
Since you already have a history of your periods missed once , it can happen to you once again. However you will have to confirm that you are not pregnant by
doing a urine pregnancy test which is easily and freely available in the market.
Once you have done that test if it is positive even then your pregnancy can be aborted by using drugs, which can be prescribed by a gynecologist after examining you. But remember not to use these drugs on a continued fashion as these are harmful drugs in long run.
But if it is negative then also I would recommend you to repeat the test after 7 days just to be doubly sure and you can also get USG abdomen to confirm but not until you have done that by a urine pregnancy test which is the easier method.
Otherwise there can be multiple causes also why you could have missed
your period.

ok i ll do that, but when ever i eat papaya i immediately get my periods in a day or 2,but it is not happening now. that is why my doubt is going on increasing.i have learnt that it might be caused due to stress.i have resigned to my job and moved to a new location with my husband. here i am undergoing some interviews and all. i dont have friends here and some times there is no human interaction till my husband comes home from work. also i'm doing all the household work for the 1st time. i have a feeling like i miss my friends. previously i had lots of friends where ever i went. but i feel very happy when my husband is back home. has it anything to do with my period? or is it due to the new life style of mine? what could be the other reasons. the last when i missed my period was some time in 2008. it has been really long since then i have never missed even once.

Hi
You can miss your period due to stress, but the situation you described me does nit seem to be extremely stressful.those situations are life threatening ones.
Eating papaya and getting your periods might be a matter of chance but it has nothing to fo otherwise.
I will suggest you o get your tests done and everything should be fine.
The other causes can be hormonal, and medical which might include many causes but get the basic tests first then you think ahead
