i have my last period on 12 may 2013...i am expecting to have my period on 9th june...but it has delayed 2days..what shall i do?

Hi,

Have your periods ever been delayed like this ?
Are you married or do you have recent history of sexual contact ?
You may get a urine pregnancy test strips and do a pregnany test to confirm that you are pregnant or not.
Let me know about the test result then will tell about the treatment accordingly.
Urine pregnancy test strips are esily available in the market(chemist)

i have sexual contact 20 dys before...but i have taken contraceptive pill within 52 hrs...i am not able to buy pregnancy strip...plz tell me what shall i do?

Hi,

If you have history of sexual contact,then it is very important to see whether you are pregnant or not.
You don't have to take oral contraceptive within 52 hours,you have to take emergency contraceptive within 72 hours.
Pregnancy strips are very easily available at all chemists,although if you are unable to buy then you can visit any hospital goverment or private or may be any gynaecologist at any clinic and the doctor will help you do the test,because the pregnancy needs to be confirmed first before taking the next step.

i am a 24 yr old girl , i had a medical abortion at 6 march 2013 last month. i had all my blood test done prior and it was normal. i had also undergone a pelvic usg and i was 5 weeks pregnant. after 2 weeks from abortion i had a pelvic usg done and doctor reassured it was done and my uterus was empty.i strted bleeding on 21st march 2013 and doctor said she's not sure but could be my periods (bleeding started 1 day after i was assured uterus empty). yesterday 03 april 2013 about after 30 days , i am having right side lower abdominal pain travelling downwards and diarhea all day and discharge from vagina. the discharge is not smelly but its continusly coming like a string . i am worried as i do not know what is happening . why am i having diarrhea pain and discharge. is it jus a virus or do i have some infection ? Pid ?

Hi, The pain in lower abdominal area which you are felling near your uterus is not necessary,that there is some pathology in your uterus only.Pain can also be accompanied with loose motions in that area and you also might be having some kind of urinary infection which might be causing that pain(the pain would wean of as soon your intestinal infection gets better and your discharge seems to reduce). Only animal studies have confirmed that there are risks to the fetus and results are thus applicable to human studies. i had my last periods on 20th jan 2013 ,which went on for 5 days.After that till april15th 2013 i did not get my periods , so i consulted a gynaecologist , who did a pregnancy test ,which turned out to be negative. SO she prescribed me Cycloreg for 5 days , 3 times a day. i took all the tablets till 19th APril 2013, and still i did not get periods till 29th april.SO i again consulted my doctor ,n this time pregnancy test was positive . My Antenatal ultrasound shows i am 4-5 weeks pregnant now my question is - what are the effects of cycloreg on the baby.SHould i terminate or continue with pregnancy??

My periods came on 12 March 2013 and had sex with my husband on 19th March 2013 and after two hours I took I-Pill and on 23rd March 2013, got bleedings but not as heavy as in periods and it remained till 25th March 2013, after that I didn't got my periods till date i.e. 7th May 2013. I am very worried as don't want to get pregnant right now. What should I do?

Hi, Since you have already missed your periods once in april and you did not mention anything about may kindly mention about that also. Now you have to do a urine pregnancy test first to confirm if there is any pregnancy or not. If it comes out to be positive then we have both medical and surgical options to abort pregnancy.
