I had Wysolone 20 Mg for 2 weeks in the year 1999 and till the date I am suffering from fluid retention, weight gain, Swelling in whole body specially on face , eyes, hands and feet and muscle weakness and facing weekness after periods as it is abnormal.

PAST HISTORY : I was suffering with allergy and prescribed for Wysolone 20 Mg for 2 weeks, Afte that I felt weekness and had medications was nota bel to understrand what are the main causes, so had treatment for other things

I feel heavy pain in liver if take any medicine now, and during period the bleeding is more from usual. In a test the Doctor told me that there is a swelling in my liver.

Hi,

You can't have fluid retention or side effects of corticosteroid drug till now for the drugs you took in 1999,you might be facing all these problems because of many causes(swelling in liver might be fatty liver which is usually due to raised cholesterol)
Did you get an ultrasound or you were told by the doctor just after examination about the swelling in liver,what problems are you facing in your periods because many a times before periods stop you might have a little more bleeding or there might be some pathology in your uterus or cervix.
Do you have any discharge ?
Do you have alcohol ?
Do you have any pain on sexual activity or any bleeding just after sex ?
Have you got any blood tests done,if not then get thyroid,kidney function,lipid levels and complete blood count done and also an abdominal ultrasound done and kindly attach reports so that i can review your reports to tell you something.

Sorry for being late responsive Doctor, Yes During the periods the bleeding is constant till 8-9 day, Discharge may be more or less butit remain 24 hours Question# 2&3 : No sir, The thyroid test was normal for me as it was done already. And ultrasound was done and other lever fuction test were done conclusion was I have fatty liver, speenomengaly and I have Blood pressure problem as well, My hemoglobin aways remain 7-9 max, However i have no recent report for this.

Hi,

For swelling i would need kidney function test as well at least,so much bleeding can't be normal.I would recommend you to get a repeat ultrasound because this age is really prone for fibroid uterus.Even continuous discharge is not good and you should get your self examined for that by a gynecologist.
Are you running any continuous fever ?
How is the discharge,is it smelly,what color ?
I am not sure why you have splenomegaly because you have not mentioned any point in your history which indicates why you should have splenomegaly.
Do you have black stools or passing blood from any where else like orally in vomiting ?
You are also having anemia and should also be treated for that.
Fatty liver is usually not serious and indicate raised cholesterol in females but however you are also having enlarged spleen with it which can be serious.
Try and follow all the tests and repeat ultrasound whole abdomen because this can get serious(attach all reports) or else visit a nearest doctor because there are some things which can be told only after examination.As there are some missing points in your history.

My father is 78 years old and has been suffering from constipation for the last 2 years. He has also lost a lot of weight around 10 kgs in this time span. In the last couple of months he has been complaining that his abdominal muscles have torn due to bowel straining and now he says there is loss of muscle in his stomach area. Which is why when he lies down everything is fine but when he sits up and walks around he feels like he is carrying a weight in his stomach. After intake of food it becomes worse and he also gets bloating. We have done all possible tests - colonoscopy, CT scan, ultrasound sometime last year and everything was clear. The doctors gave a verdict of idiopathic constipation and left it at that. His blood work is fine, haemoglobin levels, cholestrol etc. He still suffers from constipation. His prostrate is enlarged but results are fine. What is the solution to his stomach muscle problem ? Is it lack of exercise, lack of protein ? He doesnt have a pot belly and has never had and had always been physically active and fairly slender.

Hi, History told by you favours irritable bowel syndrome ( IBS ). There are two alarming signs in your case : Firstly, loss of weight and that to10kg approx. Secondly, sensation of carrying a weight in stomach. Both of them do occurs in IBS. Sir i am suffering from knee sweeling in my rt knee for 6 month,two times i hv removed water(aspiration) from it bt never found relief.some time it decrease and some time increase.all tests x rays,crp,esr are normal not yet i found any relief.4 years ago same problem were in my lft knee and dr. Removed 2 pieces(tissue) from lft knee which were found normal(non specific),till one month after surgery i couldn't bent knee even a little bit,i took physiotherapy by wax and till 9 months i could bent it onle 80% after 1.5 or 2 year i could bent it properly 100 bt with pain,still there is pain when i bent it proper,and also swelling in rt knee.Dr.'s Of hospital in which i get surgery 4 yrs ago said that same surgery will pass in rt knee,bt i am afraid because still there is pain in my lft knee,if i pass again surgery in rt knee i will face same problem of pain in my rt knee,please advice me sir if there another way to get treated without surgery like med. About 5 years ago I noticed a dramatic reduction of the muscle mass (Muscle atrophy) in my right calf muscle, like 75% to 80% reduction compared to my Left calf Muscle (possible the gastrocnemius), I also noticed that my Achilles is also very loose, when in a relaxed state, compared to the left leg. What could be the possible problems? There is no pain (other than uneasiness like restless leg syndrome) associated with this problem. I do have a lower back problem (damage) that was done 30 years ago to the L4/L5 herniated disk. Now I have noticed that other muscles are starting to harden and reduce like the one did 5 years ago. I went on a 15 mile hike in the mountains this past summer and I am very active during the day. However I do not regularly exercise as I should. Thoughts?

Hello sir,I m taking nebistar 2.5one daily, from last ,1.5 year's,however recently I feel heavy eyes in morning then eyes start becoming dry and forehead heats up as office activities start.eyes feel strained if. I try to see fast moving objects or intense light.by lunch time eyes feel more strained and I start feeling giddiness.in afternoon after lunch I start yawning and eyes become wet and I feel better.however sometime this giddiness occurs anytime .I m fed up due to this.my sugar is normal.why it is happening?is it sideeffect of nebistar?please advice.
