greetings.. u could take a plain paracetomol tablet and see a dentist at the earliest....Avoid eating from the side of pain ......

Hi...
You can take plain paracetamol (Dolo-650) tablet
Probably they have to remove that filling.. so get it done soon as taking medication will not be the permanent solution.

Hello Deeksha, the symptoms you describe is most likely a inflammation within the tooth and could be due to one of the following reasons - (i) The filling is high (ii) The components of the filling is irritating to the nerves of the tooth most often seen in tooth coloured filling (Composite restoration) (iii) An infection in your tooth. As a palliative measure you may take Paracetamol (Crocin-500) or Ibuprofen (Brufen 400). However, your symptoms are likely to continue unless attended to professionally.

From your clinical symptoms and history what i can make out is that you went to the dentist in the very last moment when the tooth decay was giving you trouble . Although the dentist has tried to save you a root canal treatment, it is this R.C.T which now seems inevitable. Did your dentist took a before & after filling x-ray and discussed all the options with you. You must discuss everything in advance to avoid such incidence. Medications will only help as long as they are taken. Thanks

Dear ***** you can take Mox 250mg + Ibugesic Plus 3 times a day use cold fomentation from outside every 2 hours and will have to visit a dentist as to proper evalution of the cause of the swelling & pain. you may require an intraoral xray to find out the cause then only you may get relief permanently

Hello Diksha,
as you are saying that the pain started after the filling was done..it means that the tooth is indicated for root canal which can be confirmed by clinical and radiological examination.. Till that time you can take Tab Nac-SR 75 mg two times a day.. and if the pain really gets severe just take tab.ketorol-DT after dispersing it in water.. Else you can call
me on **********..My clinic is in gurgaon only..

Dear Diksha,
If the pain has occured after tooth restoration it may be bcoz of high points or the restoration is causing irritation in the tooth , which can be better evaluated with iopa xray and if needed then the restorarion could be removed the rct must be done . Medicine usually dont work in such situation.
Thanks ..
