About a year ago I had a serious dental problem. I had an apicectomy performed and the surgeon left a lot of leftover amalgam inside my jaw. To cut a long story short my body rejected the amalgam and it started to come out of my jaw in pieces. Before the dentist realised what the problem was he prescribed about 4 courses of antibiotics and this led to a very severe balanitis after the 4th course. It got treated succesfully with cream and fluconazol(150mg). Now It seems to return in a very mild form lasting a couple of days after I treat with cream every couple of months or so. Do I need to visit the doctor again or should I wait until it stops naturally? I had surgery to remove the amalgam from the jaw when they realised that that was causing the inflammation. My jaw is recovering very well.

I think post surgery, Your dentist must have taken the X-Ray to confirm complete removal of amalgum. Balantitis most likely is coincidental need to consult dermatologist for same. ...

Hi, Yes the condition can get very serious and can be told only after examination and you just can't wait for so long,even if the hospital is far contact your freinds or family whom so ever might be there to help you. Dear Diksha, If the pain has occured after tooth restoration it may be bcoz of high points or the restoration is causing irritation in the tooth , which can be better evaluated with iopa xray and if needed then the restorarion could be removed the rct must be done . I visit an OB to work out for pregnancy I'm just 4 months married, she prescribed me Premarin for 2 days and Arcalion for my husband for 5days. After that she took an tbs to check if I'm ovulating and she sees there the 1.5 size of follicle and after two days we had done tbs again to check if the follicle grown in its size, but it didn't, so that means the Premarin that she prescribed did not effect as she said it will help the follicle to grow? Now in this month of Oct, my period suppose to come just like last month it suppose to come on 24 but it came on 22, so I suppose to expect to come earlier than last month.

Hi there. Premarin does not really help for your follicles to grow. There are other ovulation induction medicine such as clomiphene citrate. Menstruation rarely does come at the same day every month. As long as it is in the 21-35 day cycle, counting from the 1st day of menstruation until the 1st day of next menstruation. Please be patient. Pregnancy rarely comes after only one cycle of treatment.
