hi.. i am having severe chest pain on left side.. pain is throbbing and alongwith sum pressure.. left shoulder pains... my bp is 140/80. pain persistes for 2-3 hrs and go and agn after sumtm it starts.. it increases if i walk or have argument. when it pains i have difficulty in breathing and feel like vomitting... Dr. has prescribed Etilaam 0.25, Rexipra o.5, wysolene.. what is this pain... cnat understand.. its been more than 15 days ...

Hi, sometimes it's not so easy to differ chest pain is from heart problems or it's an extracardiac pain. It highly matters how old are you, gender, past disease, trauma hystory, family history etc. Usually if the pain is an anginal, ie comes from diminished heart blood supply, and lasts more than 20-30 minutes, it brings to heart muscle damage, ie miocardial infarction. In this case it woud be appropriate to do cardiac tests (ECG, EchoCG, cardiac troponin T test, etc) and if everithing comes ok that means cardiac dangerous causes are excluded and the next step is to investigate and find the real cause of pain. Sometimes, as in your case, the way to find is a short term treatment aganst the disease your doctor suspects, and if it brings to good results that means your doc is on the right way and your complaints are from the stress in your life, otherwise he/she may change investigation and treatment course. Be healthy.

I hv been having problems of dizziness, and spinning sensations since last 4/5 days. Had the same earlier abt 2 yrs back but on a very mild scale and they went away without any medication. This time it has been rather acute. Visited the physician and hv been prescribed Vertin 8 mg 1x3 times a day before bkfst, lunch and dinner. After three days feeling better but the sensations are still there albeit milder. Feel the spinning sensation especially when I look straight up/down and then bring the head back to normal posn.Again when I am changing sides on bed while lying down from left to right rpt left to right I feel the same sensation. Tho' the dizziness and the spinning sensations are less now after taking the dosages of Vertin 8 last three days would u hv any advice as to how long it takes normally for the problems to be totally eliminated? I am particularly concerned as I am, tho' a retired person, a man of fairly active habits and for the various domestic chores often hv to drive quite a bit in heavy city traffic and as a result of this problem am completely grounded which is affecting our day-to-day life styles and needs.

hi, I am 26 year old male.My heart pulse rate is 100 bpm at rest, blood pressure range from 120-136/80-90, when high blood pressure I have pain behind eye and headache. I also feel chest tightness sometime. when I walk or do physical activity I can feel slight breath. From recent blood work my chelostorel is 245. what could be the problem?

Hi, You should try to lower it right now with diet first for 3-4 months. If no effects are seen then you may go on with drugs for this(raised cholesterol). Your blood pressure is not high otherwise it is just a little raised for your age. As soon as your cholesterol comes down your b.p will also reduce. Am 42 years old. I have joint pain in my RHS arm. in the wrist joint mostly but also the elbow joint plus the finger joints. I normally feel it when I wake up in the morning. Also after taking some beer or Redbull it is more severe. what could be the problem. At times the pains extends up to shoulder joints. I fee like stretching all the time to ease it up. Please help.

I am facing breathing difficulty from last 3 days. I am allergic to dust. Few days ago, while sleeping I wasn't taking a breath, my room-mate awaken me. Also have difficulty in concentration, tonsil pain and small amount of headache with appetite lowered than usual.

Hi.. Im 24 yr old male. i have an habit of masturbation. i think in my school 8th class i did masturbation first time.
