Can we start taking femilon from 5th day of our periods? I started like that..or is it compulsory to take from 2nd day itself

Hi there. Yes, you may still take your femilon on your 5th day of menstruation. It will still be effective in preventing pregnancy. Do not miss a tablet and take the tablet same time everyday.

My doctor prescribed me to take yamini tablets (drospirenone and ethinylestradiol tablets) from 5th day of period. I started taking tablet on 5th day and had inntercourse on same day. She didn't ask me about my perio cycle is my period cycle is short. For last three months I am getting periods at interval of 25 days days but before that for some months, I had cycle of 22 days. Can I be suure about not getting pregnent.

Hi!! YAMINI is an oral contraceptive that produces an artificial cycle.If earlier your menses were for 22 days but after starting yamini they come regularly after every 25 days,it is normal. Hello sir,I m taking nebistar 2.5one daily, from last ,1.5 year's,however recently I feel heavy eyes in morning then eyes start becoming dry and forehead heats up as office activities start.eyes feel strained if. I try to see fast moving objects or intense light.by lunch time eyes feel more strained and I start feeling giddiness.in afternoon after lunch I start yawning and eyes become wet and I feel better.however sometime this giddiness occurs anytime .I m fed up due to this.my sugar is normal.why it is happening?is it sideeffect of nebistar?please advice.

Hi, Definitely the symptoms you have described could be due to the drug you are having(which can cause dizziness, insomnia, vertigo, nausea, nervousness, headache) or the problem could also be due to some digestion. my g.f is 26 yr old,her periods comes on 5th date ,after sex at 3 rd feb ,she take a tablet of unwanted 72 then check home pregnency test it is negative and after 1month and 10 days there is no any symptomps of pregnency and home pregnency result will also be negative bt there is problem her periods had not come after 1month and 10 days..?,my g.f consult a gyno-bt without any checkup she gives a dose of mifepristone and mesoprostal ..after taken these medicine periods has not come...what can we do?

Hi, There were a certain points which were a little unclear,how many times was urine pregnancy test negative and when. After how many days was it done importantly and when was it done last(date of urine pregnancy test). If urine pregnancy test is negative then there is no point why any gynaec would prescribe you mifepristone. I take femilon pills which continues for 21 days and after 7 days gap i restart my femilon pill again. This time due to my tight schedule I missed the pills by 2 days. Hence I am not sure whether I can continue with the same.

Our baby is 7weeks old.One day we sow on our baby buttom these blue marks,we call to the hospital straightaway,they ask us to bring her to the hospital.These bruises a really large on both buttocks,we never harm our baby.After few hours me and my husband were arrested for child cruelty,now its been 4weeks and our baby is in foster care while they do investigation.Its heart breaking,we have no idea how these bruises emerged in the first place,could it be these birth marks that everyone is talking about?but she is white skin,we both from eastern europe.Police took her infant baby bath,cous we told them it my be cous of the bath.Any advise or anything that could help us please?we try to get help for her and look whats happend,i never imagen in a million years they can do this.thanks

I'm 5ft 9.9" and weigh 76.7 kgs. I have been on Femilon since October 2013 as a form of birth control. I also have PCOS features. I read that the combined pill, like Femilon, is ineffective for women above 77kgs. Is this true? What birth control is preferable for overweight women like me, if not Femilon?

Period has been off cycle the past few months, it came after 38 days. Before my period came, I had thicker grey/white discharge than normal with no odor and did not look like cottage cheese. It did not itch. It seemed normal, just more than usual. I then had a normal menses. I decided to start Lo Loestrin birth control on day 3 of my menses. During the last day of my menses (day 4/5) when the blood was lighter/brown, I started having intense itching especially after urinating and wiping. I just assumed it was from using a new type of pad and possibly due to hormonal changes because of the birth control. I also felt like my vagina was more dry than usual. The itching became less intense but I still felt more dry than usual. I had sexual intercourse a few days later and he caused a tear. I then noticed hours later that on my labia minora an ulcer had developed. It basically looks like the same type of canker sore you get in your mouth. My vagina is still quite dry. It burns when I pee and the sore is uncomfortable. I also have a tear at my vaginal opening. I don't think it is herpes. There was no pustules or groups of pustules. There is no scabbing. There are no other ulcers. I have never had herpes before. I have never had a sore like this before. I was fully tested one year ago for all STDs and HIV and came back negative. I'm just not sure what to do. I'm assuming I have to go get tested again just to make sure, but unfortunately I do not have insurance and most free clinics only check for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and HIV. Hoping to get an idea of what I should do. Also, hoping for some differentials.
