My doctor prescribed me to take yamini tablets (drospirenone and ethinylestradiol tablets) from 5th day of period. I started taking tablet on 5th day and had inntercourse on same day. She didn't ask me about my perio cycle is my period cycle is short. For last three months I am getting periods at interval of 25 days days but before that for some months, I had cycle of 22 days. Can I be suure about not getting pregnent.

I hv been having problems of dizziness, and spinning sensations since last 4/5 days. Had the same earlier abt 2 yrs back but on a very mild scale and they went away without any medication. This time it has been rather acute. Visited the physician and hv been prescribed Vertin 8 mg 1x3 times a day before bkfst, lunch and dinner. After three days feeling better but the sensations are still there albeit milder. Feel the spinning sensation especially when I look straight up/down and then bring the head back to normal posn.Again when I am changing sides on bed while lying down from left to right rpt left to right I feel the same sensation. Tho' the dizziness and the spinning sensations are less now after taking the dosages of Vertin 8 last three days would u hv any advice as to how long it takes normally for the problems to be totally eliminated? I am particularly concerned as I am, tho' a retired person, a man of fairly active habits and for the various domestic chores often hv to drive quite a bit in heavy city traffic and as a result of this problem am completely grounded which is affecting our day-to-day life styles and needs.

Hi i m 18 years old i m depression patient and i take depression tablets since 4 years but before 5 months i had operation of stomach cyst of tubercuulosis after operation i take .5mg alprax tablet then aftet few days i take .25 mg tablet but now i m taking half .25ng tablet but now i want not to take these tablet but still i had sleeping problem and breathing problems and too much other so i want u to help me and give me suggestion to get rid of these tablet and live normal life

My appendix ruptured 4 days before I went into the hospital for any treatment. Obviously at the time I was very unaware of what it was until after being diagnosed through a very rapid volly of tests and scans, which within hours resulted into surgery. I thought I pulled a muscle or broke/chipped a rib. After I woke from survey the doctor explained my appendix did rupture but luckily, and she quoted to "luckily" in the "chances of winning the lottery" way. she went on to explain that it looked like it ruptured days ago.(I went 4 days of same intense pain levels). She said where it ruptured was "luckily" so close to my colon that the poisonous puss acualy fused my ruptured appendix to the side of my colon which resulted in a, and again I quote, "a miracle bandage", that somewhat sealed most of the deadly toxins that surely would of.."should of" killed me within hours, a few days at best, without immediate care and heavy antibiotics. It was so bad she had to remove part of my colon and needed to make 2 separate incisions. I lay here now after a 2 day after care stay, at my home, with a long drain tube still attached and sucking poison out, a bottle of pain meds which I won't take and refused before surgery also, and a huge bottle of strongest antibiotics prescribable that I must take for at minimum 14 days. I'm a single full time father of 3 girls, twins(almost 14) and a 10yr old. We have no other family, they are what I live for, my strength, my joy, my pride and I litteraly thank god every night for allowing me to care, provide, and have another day together. I never thought I could be more grateful for each day given my past I didn't deserve it. my question is simply this, and thank you for reading, Was I really that close to death? Or is my doctor trumping it up so I'm more conscious about seeing my doc more than once every 5-7 years if that? I will start regular check ups and won't tuff things out to much as a result..BUT COULD I HAVE DIED THAT FAST? THAT EASILY?? please be straight up..no bs..no need to be drawn out.. Do you feel any kind of numbness or any kind paresthesia in your hands or legs. Since how long are you having this problem and also describe in detail whether you are facing any other symptom or not and whether it was all of a sudden or the symptoms you are facing devloped gradually. Any problem in urine or dafecation ? Any history of trauma and is this pain bilateral or unilateral ? Any history of hypertension and diabetes ? You can get serum electrolyte level and vitamin d3 levels chceked in blood right now and also give me the awnser to above queries i asked you and then will let you know whether any other investigation is required or not. Would recomend you to have plenty of water and high protein diet and also one tablet of neurokind plus daily. My reply:- Yes i feel kind of parasthesia in my hands and legs. Actually i want to share a thing. I had laser surgery for my eyes before 2 years. That time doctor said my nerves are somewhat weak. May be its a family gene problem which could've occured for any others in your family. Anyway its not a problem for this surgery and they done it. I too okay with my eyes. As doctor said generally i feel nervous often. But last 6 months i feel kind of tickling or tingling in my hands and legs. I feel some like burning in my leg limbs.
