I hv been having problems of dizziness, and spinning sensations since last 4/5 days. Had the same earlier abt 2 yrs back but on a very mild scale and they went away without any medication. This time it has been rather acute. Visited the physician and hv been prescribed Vertin 8 mg 1x3 times a day before bkfst, lunch and dinner. After three days feeling better but the sensations are still there albeit milder. Feel the spinning sensation especially when I look straight up/down and then bring the head back to normal posn.Again when I am changing sides on bed while lying down from left to right rpt left to right I feel the same sensation. Tho' the dizziness and the spinning sensations are less now after taking the dosages of Vertin 8 last three days would u hv any advice as to how long it takes normally for the problems to be totally eliminated? I am particularly concerned as I am, tho' a retired person, a man of fairly active habits and for the various domestic chores often hv to drive quite a bit in heavy city traffic and as a result of this problem am completely grounded which is affecting our day-to-day life styles and needs.

hi i have been using nicoret patches for 5 days now and i put them on the underside of my upper arm. i have the contriceptive implant in my upper arm. i am wondering if the patches can effect the implant at all as i have never had a period while having the implant and i have used them for years but this morning i had started with quite heavy bleeding is it related to the nicotine patch?

Hello Doc, My periods delayed by 7 days, so i took a pregnancy test using the kit available in the market. It showed C and T lines to be pink confirming pregnancy. But as I was not in a shape to have a baby, I took two pills of regulin forte to abort it. After three days, I had heavy vaginal discharge for half an hour and then it stopped completely.Now after 7 days I undertook the same test again, this time C was dark pink and T was pale pink.. what should I do now. kindly advice.

Hi!! The pregnancy test can remain positive for uptil 2 weeks after an abortion. To rule out if pregnancy is completely aborted or not,so please get a serum beta hcg test done.This is a blood test that that checks the same hormone of pregnancy in the blood that the urine test checks. Hello sir,I m taking nebistar 2.5one daily, from last ,1.5 year's,however recently I feel heavy eyes in morning then eyes start becoming dry and forehead heats up as office activities start.eyes feel strained if. I try to see fast moving objects or intense light.by lunch time eyes feel more strained and I start feeling giddiness.in afternoon after lunch I start yawning and eyes become wet and I feel better.however sometime this giddiness occurs anytime .I m fed up due to this.my sugar is normal.why it is happening?is it sideeffect of nebistar?please advice.

Hi, Definitely the symptoms you have described could be due to the drug you are having(which can cause dizziness, insomnia, vertigo, nausea, nervousness, headache) or the problem could also be due to some digestion. Problems(acidity+some more problem) could also be due to lack of physical activity or some neurological problem(which I don't think right now that you are having.),with the history you gave me. Hi, That is good that your ultrasound report is clear and didn't have any retained bits,the bleeding you are having may last for 3-5 days. If pain is there then you can have pain killers. You should also have plenty of water because many people feel dehydrated and weak in such situation and have a good and healthy diet(high protein diet). Hi, The history you have given to me suggests that she got fever and infection since 5 days or may be a little more which has also affected her kidneys as that shows albumin in urine. Tlc is not significant in kids, and exactly it can be told only by blood culture,but we can wait and see is she responding to drugs or not and if she does not respond then we can get a culture done.
