i am just 25 years old.My height is 169 cm&weight-72 kgslast 10 days back i checked my bp,it is 150/100.my lipid profile reports are normal,in ultrasound scanning liver was minute enlarged,i am taking stamlo beta for my hypertension,now can i use ayurveda medicines for hyprtension & liver enlargement.

Hi, Looking at your detail that you gave me, you seem to have a normal BMI (body mass index),and normal cholesterol levels which is a good thing. There can be many people who might have a slight or mildly enlarged liver that only means that you should have a little less on your cholesterol or oil in eating and may be alcohol if you ingest it. Hi, 9.5 mm gall stone it's a pretty big gall stone. The indications for removing stone are - any stone size which are causing distressing symptoms to patient or any single stone which is more than 1cm or 10 mm. and your mother in laws' gall stone is nearing the same size. From last 4 years myn menstrual period got decreased. Ealier use to get for 4 days. after that reduced for 3 days then 2 days and now reduced the quantity also. 1st day 6 to 7 drops 2nd day 5 drops. i had a perianal abscess operation around 5 weeks back. I have been off antibiotics and the regular dressings for around 10 days. However, I still have pain around that area as well as regular little discharge of pus from the wound. . The histopathology report mentioned the following: Nature of Material received: Left perineal abscess wall Gross description: Received a single greyish brown congested irregular ring 1.7 x 1.5 x 1 cm Microscopic description: Biopsy shows fibrosis in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue. Hi, If you still have pain and pus discharge around that area then , either the infection is there again because it was not cleared properly( the pus drainage was not done properly ) or either it might have formed again because you might be having some co exsistent problem which probably went un diagnosed . I have two different reports, one is a MRI that states I have a 4.5 disc herniation and then I have a ct scan that show I have a 2.5 producing mild central can stenosis. Which one would be correct? both state I am not fusion after having a c5-c7 fusion a year ago.

Hi, Thanks for writing in. When we talk about disc problems then MRI is more accurate. CT shows bones better but MRI shows the disc on detail. Regarding fusion of C 5 - C 7 it is important to see your images before commenting on the type of fusion procedure. hi bobby, your perianal abscess surgery would take atleast 2-3 weeks to heal and slowly the soreness and pain will come down day by day as the wound heals. regular dressings especially after motions is the key to successful healing. The very fact that your pus c/s report mentions E.coli, I just want to make you aware that these bacteria are from the large intestine. The basic question is from where did the bacteria get into the perianal area?? the answer is that there is a small hole in the anus ...
