For my sister in the age of 14, few steroids injected to suppress the growth of an abscess which was grown due to herpes viral infection in the upper lip below nose. The abscess growth stopped and we satisfied about the medication. Now she is 30, but her personnel body growth is getting reduced day by day. She is around 40 kg now. We have a doubt, is there any side effect happened because of the steroid injected.

Hi, Steroids given by systemic route play a role in body stunting,but once the full body size is achieved or height is achieved,then body stunting doesn't occur and steroid leads to increase in weight gain and does not reduce weight. So if her personal body growth is reducing now after gaining full weight and height, the cause should not be steroid taken at that tender age,and she should have a detailed examination and investigation to find out the cause of the disease. I am unable to eat Spicy food or food cooked with lot of Masala. Get tongue burning sensation, like we get after ating lot of chillies. Also after eating food with even slight spice, start feeling giddy. Eperiencing this problem since last four months. From last 4 years myn menstrual period got decreased. Ealier use to get for 4 days. after that reduced for 3 days then 2 days and now reduced the quantity also. 1st day 6 to 7 drops 2nd day 5 drops. I done all the medical check up all reports are normal. I am worried that it will get stop. Even myn weight also got incresed feeling more sleepy n laziness. Please help me out

I used to do few abs exercise ever day for 20 mins. I did this for 2 weeks. I stopped after having abdominal muscle pain and back pain. This pain is not the regular pain. I feel as though muscles are contracting. It been 2 weeks now. I took hifilac for 4 days (1 everyday) after which pain has reduced considerably, but still there is uneasiness and light pain sometimes. What could be the reason? Hi, I am not sure,your doctor must have examined you so he can might be telling better,but i belive you should have complet liver tests including pt aptt and coagulation profile and billirubin levels and also repeat the tests you already have. Although yellow eyes can also be due to mddy sclera,some people have muddy sclera. Hello, I am undergoing an IVF treatment this moth and was put on dupheston to delay my last period by my doctor. The period when it arrived was much lighter than my usual period. I am currently on day 7 of my cycle and have been taking the highest dose of injections Bravelle and Lupron every day from day 2. However in todays scan it appeared to be a poor egg development and one ovary seemed not responsive. I am concerned that Dupheston delaying myFSH period has had some effect on my ovarian performance. On day 2 my FSH was 13.5. Please advice

Hi, Intially when you start taking treatment for hair loss it can result in incresed hair loss for a intial few days,this is not the point for worry but since you have started using minoxidil for hair growth it will have to be used till the time you need hair.
