Hi! The only blood test that can show whether you are pregnant or the previous abortion was an incomplete one is a serum beta hcg -this checks the hormone for pregnancy in the blood. If less than 5 ,then pregnancy is negative. A normal gynae check up can reveal past pregnancy only if earlier pregnancy led to an incomplete abortion which can be made out by an ultrasonogram of the pelvis or the serum beta hcg.Otherwise no doctor can make out whether you were pregnant in the past and have taken abor ...

hi, I had a D&C because of incomplete abortion, then the bleeding was heavy for a week, doctor suggested me primolut-n for 21 days, after completing the course on third day i started bleeding, but the bleeding is very heavy with lot of pain ,,,, is this heavy bleeding normal and how long it will take to subsidise......

Hi, That is good that your ultrasound report is clear and didn't have any retained bits, the bleeding you are having may last for 3-5 days. If pain is there then you can have pain killers. You should also have plenty of water because many people feel dehydrated and weak in such situation and have a good and healthy diet(high protein diet). You can also use hot water bottle over abdomen to relive your abdominal muscles. ...

My wife had a Preterm Premature Rapture Of Membrane three days before. She is in 17th week of her pregnancy.Doctors r saying the rapture is too big tobe heeled naturally. Babys sonography report is normal. Heart beat rate is 173. Dr is suggesting abortion but we r not convinced plz help.

Hi!! yes your doctor has rightly advised you an abortion due to rupture of membranes. If the membranes around the baby burst ,then chances of infection to the mother and baby are very high.Since the baby has not reached the period of viability,it is not possible for the baby to survive, also infection has already set in as babys heartbeat is high. This is termed as tachycardia and is one of the first signs of fetal infection. This needs immediate intervention to terminate the pregnancy and can be do ...

I need to abort my 3 to 4 weeks old pregnancy. I have tested my urine wait the pregnancy test tube (HCG test tube). It gave me a positive pregnancy result. Now i wish to abort it at home. I do not wish to go to the hospital and am not economically well too. hence please guide me with the quick abortion in a simple way.

Hi!! Pregnancy cannot be less tahn 4 weeks as it is always counted from the day of the last menstrual period,so your pregnancy should be calculated accordingly. Also, termination of pregnancy ,is not such a simple procedure, so kindly consult a gynaecologist, get an ultrasound done for early pregnancy to calculate the exact size of the pregnancy, blood group and haemoglobin done. Taking over the counter medications cause more harm and may even be life threatening,so kindly refrain without proper pre ...

My gf is continuosly bleeding after an abortion done on 24 april by misoprostol. Sometimes its light n sometimes too dark, its was a self administered one. Dont want to get to any doctor as much possible. Plz help.

Hi!! If an abortion was done with misoprostol and the bleeding is continuous after that most likely it appaears to be a case of incomplete abortion. If the products of conception are not expelled continuously after an abortion, then it leads to continuous bleeding .Kindly get an ultrasound of the pelvis( transvaginal scan) done to rule out your condition. ...

Had sex 12 days back.. What dosage of mifegest to be taken for abortion followed by cytolog

Hi, The only test which can detect pregnancy now is serum hcg or urine hcg which can be done in any laboratory or urine hcg can be done by a urine pregnancy kit but if the girl has not missed her periods then it might also be negative right now or may be weakly poitive and get postive properly only after a week when she has missed her periods. Ultrasound and pelvic scan are of no value. Drugs like mifigest can only be prescribed once it is confirmed that she is pregnant and that to by a gynaeco ...
