Hi, I am due for elective surgery in 11 days for breast augmentation, under general anaesthetic , however I have used small amounts of amphetamines (base) Daily for the last 3 months. I have stopped taking them today, will this have an affect of my surgery? Will I be in danger whilst under GA Thankyou in advance

Hi, You should inform your anaesthetist and surgeon regarding the same. Because the amphetamines may have altered your requirement of anaesthetics. i had have a general filling which came out after 7 years and as per R V Dental specialist i need to go for root canal surgery but i m not sure whether general filling can be done on same since i do not have any pain. also as per their opinion based on the broken length they considered the case as level 2 case. please advise.

Hello doctor my name is disha I have 2 questions for you. I.e. 1 I have a severe sinusitis problem I cannot concentrate on anything I feel dizzy heavy on my head base of my skull all feel like choked up. MRI says its mucosal thickening in left maxillary ,CT scan says polyp sinusitis cyst I'm goin mad what it is all this is due to SINUS?? 2nd question is my MRI says loss of cervical lordosis which means what because left side my neck n shoulder to pains crazily. N I wanna no if I have to get operated can I go under local anethesia as I'm shit scared of general anethesia.

I'm feeling shakey, light headed, nauseated, weak, and I'm really pale. I'm not dehydrated I drink plenty of water. I don't know what's wrong but I feel awful my hands are shaking and I can barely focus on anything except for my symptoms. Every time I walk or stand or just move in general it is worse. Hello There, My friend while driving a moped fall off to the ground to avoid a volley ball which came off from the ground. At first, he was able to bend his right knee but had pain while walking on first day. After seeing the general physician he put on a case to rest his knee in straight position. X'ray report suggest no harm to bone. Today he is saying he is able to walk and no pain but not able to bend his right knee and feels the pain. Ortho doctors felt that there could be ligament fracture. Question now is : Is it through MRI scan only the ligament tear or fracture can be known ? If it is a facture or tear, what is the treatment ? Is surgery must or can be cured with medicine/rest ? Please let know. Thank you

Hello, I am 31 weeks pregnant and suddenly was having excruciating pain in lower abdomen (more like localized near uterus). Pain was bit better after I passed gas but it is still present. I had Urad dal yesterday, which I never eat in general. I blamed it on that but after my bowl movement today , I was expecting that this pain will go away and so is my bloated / gaseous feeling.
