Dear Mrs xyz Firstly you need to tell me whether you have conceived on your own or after taking medications( asissted conception) Secondly, you need to tell me how much weight you have gained in the last 2 month. Hello Doc, My periods delayed by 7 days, so i took a pregnancy test using the kit available in the market. It showed C and T lines to be pink confirming pregnancy. But as I was not in a shape to have a baby, I took two pills of regulin forte to abort it. After three days, I had heavy vaginal discharge for half an hour and then it stopped completely. Now after 7 days I undertook the same test again, this time C was dark pink and T was pale pink.. what should I do now. kindly advice.

Hi!! The pregnancy test can remain positive for uptil 2 weeks after an abortion. To rule out if pregnancy is completely aborted or not,so please get a serum beta hcg test done. This is a blood test that that checks the same hormone of pregnancy in the blood that the urine test checks. A beta hcg test is done in all laboratories and the results are usually available after few hours. The beta hcg test in serum( blood) if more than 5 indicates pregnancy,so maybe your pregnancy is not completely abor ...

Hi, Since you are a known diabetic, few changes which have to be brought in are lifestyle modifications. If you have already not changed them or if you are not serious about them because they are the only steps which would help you the most. Drugs just bring down sugar for a few hours and then would raise back again and your body can become slowly resistant to the same drug dose so first you will have to bring lifestyle modification(changes) in yourself. 1)Eat a low-cholesterol, low-fat diet, ...

Doctor advised to take Injection CORION 5000IU weekly and ARGIPREG Sachet -1 sachet daily with other regular Tablets like ASA 50(1 daily), SYSFOL PLUS (2tab daily) and DUBAGEST-200(1 daily). Hi!! Pregnancy cannot be less tahn 4 weeks as it is always counted from the day of the last menstrual period,so your pregnancy should be calculated accordingly. Also, termination of pregnancy ,is not such a simple procedure, so kindly consult a gynaecologist, get an ultrasound done for early pregnancy to calculate the exact size of the pregnancy, blood group and haemoglobin done. Taking over the counter medications cause more harm and may even be life threatening,so kindly refrain without proper pre ...

how sucessfull is stem cell therapy in diabetes

Hi, The treatment is mostly succesful in type 2 diabetes which you are suffering from(usually reserved for people in whom the sugar is not controlled by drugs and disease is chronic - you did not tell me anything about this point whether you are controlled on medicines or not.),but it will have to be confirmed by tests that you don't have any auto antibodies which means antibodies against your own cells. But the treatment is still not advocated commonly. ...
