Hi,
I understand. Hair is a very important part of a person's self image. It sounds like you have Male Pattern Baldness, also known as MAGA. This is genetic hair loss and one can have it even without a history of it in their mother or father since lots of genes are involved. This has seven grades and the first four are treatable with Medical Therapy. Stage 5,6 and 7 unfortunately are too late for medical treatment and need to be treated surgically with hair transplantation or with camouflage treatments like hair weaving or hair pieces. It sounds like you are in these later stages and hence should really start thinking about hair transplantation as an option. Medical treatment, if you are keen to try that first consists of procedures like Mesothrapy, PRP therapy and topical solutions like Minoxidil or Capyxil lotion.
Just one thing to keep in mind - if you have lost hair in the beard area, eyebrows or anywhere else on the body besides the scalp then a possibility of alopecia areata, which is a type of autoimmune hair loss, will need to be considered. This is a rare possibility but I have mentioned it for the sake of being thorough.
