My daughter who is 3 months old is sneezing a lot and has a running nose as well since yesterday. Can I give her T-minic drops? Or do you recommend some other drops? Please explain the dosage as well.

Your daughter is having upper respiratory tract infection which is mostly due to viral infection.Nothing to worry.U can give her T minic drops 7 drops 8 hourly.It is anti histaminic it will take care of her sneezing and running nose.Also i recommend to use nasoclear (saline) nasal drops 2 drops both nostrils every 6 hourly which will keep her nose open so that she can breathe easy.continue breastfeeding.You can give her these medicines for 3 days.she will be alright.

Thanks very much doctor. It seems some relief for my daughter from sneezing and running nose. However, she has now developed cough as well. Please suggest.

Good to know she has some relief in her symptoms.Cough which she has developed is part of the same infection which she is having,no need to worry, continue the same medicine till she is having cough.Remember to exclusively breastfeed her,don't give her bottle feeds which are the source of infections.She will be alright.

Dear Sir/Madam, I have had intercourse with my boyfriend 5 months back and had abortion pills by consulting a Doctor online. Hi! The only blood test that can show whether you are pregnant or the previous abortion was an incomplete one is a serum beta hcg -this checks the hormone for pregnancy in the blood.If less than 5 ,then pregnancy is negative. hi i have a female friend , she used to to smoke Hookah tobacco for 3 months then suddenly she stopped smoking , now she feels heart pain (heart beats faster ), chest pain (hard to breath and some timed coughs blood ) and back pain when she went to the hospital the doctor said you must stop smoking hookah gradually not stop suddenly so what do u recommend and is it true that this is the only solution for this problem ? or is there some kind of pills or medical solution? i don't her to smoke again cause if she tries again she may be addicted again to hookah tobacco so please i want a better solution then this solution

Hi, Since you have not told me about the age of the patient ,with only history available that she was a smoker,following might be the causes - - Bronchitis - Brochiectasis - Lung carcinoma - Pneumonia For all of these you will have to leave smoking.You may quit smoking suddenly but doctors at might not recommend it because this might suddenly lead to dropping of hormone levels in blood which might cause depression. My mom who is 70 has been on ecosprin and other blood thinners since october 2012 after suffering a stroke. She has got her tooth extracted 5 days back. She had stopped ecosprin for a couple of days befrore and after the extraction which she has now resumed. Her gum bleeds quite heavily atleast a couple of times in a day. in jan end there was unprotected sex on 03 april i felt burning sensation on my penis ,on 04 april i was diagnosed for uti by surgeon as there was 1-2 pus cell in my urine and prescribed with antibiotic for a week. it did not give me relief i refered to a urologist and told him everything, he has diagnosed me for prostattitus after physical examination and my semen culture showed no growth,but pus cells 4-6hpf the urologist said there is no STI . he has prescribed me the foll doxy 100mg twice daily for 15 days lenoflox 500 once daily for 4 weeks t.alfoo 10mg one daily for 3 months it has been 15 days since i am having the med but the burning sensation comes often on the right bottom of the head of my penis with no other symptom .what can be the possible reason there is no discharge/rashes on my genitals only this burning sensation pl tell me if i need to show to some other urologist or is it that i have an std which the urologist could not diagnose if so then whom should i consult and what all test of std should i conduct .the urologist has said that i do not require any STD test as i have simple prostatits but the fear of std is troubling me or do i need to consult a pshycatrist pl help

My Kid is 9 months old but she is underweight by 3 Kgs. Her current weight is 5.9 but she is active!!! As of now, we are giving Similac Stage 2 but her consumption is very very less.
