Im 23 years old married. In march 2016 i got pregnant but I didn't want to have kids so early so i opted for medical abortion at 8th week. It was successful. From January 2017 my periods are irregular. 40-50 days between each cycle. Yesterday i was diagnosed with pcos. Doctor prescribed medicines but im afraid that medicines may cause side effects. Can i opt ayurvedic medicines and practice yoga. Will that be enough to stay healthy and try for kids?

My doctor prescribed me to take yamini tablets (drospirenone and ethinylestradiol tablets) from 5th day of period. I started taking tablet on 5th day and had inntercourse on same day. She didn't ask me about my perio cycle is my period cycle is short. For last three months I am getting periods at interval of 25 days days but before that for some months, I had cycle of 22 days. Can I be suure about not getting pregnent.

  Doctor's Answer

Hi!! YAMINI is an oral contraceptive that produces an artificial cycle. If earlier your menses were for 22 days but after starting yamini they come regularly after every 25 days,it is normal. Also, chances of conceving on yamini are extremely low if you are taking the pill correctly, that is,taking it daily, not missing any tablet and starting the next packet on the 8th day of finishing the previous packet ...

Hi, I stared the HCG diet 10 days ago using the drops. I also am trying to have a baby so I had sex three times during the week of ovulation. Last period was on January 8. I have had pregnancy symptoms, five positive pregnancy tests, no period. I did have some spotting but it was brown which makes me think that I am pregnant. I am not sure if it is the HCG drops causing a false positive test. Last night I put some of the drops on a pregnancy test and it was a faint positive. My dr. recommended a blood test and then another 48 hours later. I have poor insurance coverage as I am a business owner, and I don't want to spend the money on the blood tests this early. I usually have a 28-31 day cycle. I am thinking of just waiting a couple of weeks, I live a healthy lifestyle. Advice, sorry to ramble on. Jaclyn

  Doctor's Answer

Hi Jaclyn!! your issues as to whether the test for pregnancy is actually positive or not are actually confirmed by the serum beta hcg which if doubles in 48 hours means a viable and growing pregnancy. please get the blood tests for the pregnancy done as told. Also ,i hope you had rhogam after in your 1st pregnancy and after the miscarriage. Also your previous pregnancy with history of incompetent os means that this condition is likely to happen again so go in for prophylactic encirclage of the ...

Pid ?

  Doctor's Answer

Hi, The pain in lower abdominal area which you are felling near your uterus is not necessary, that there is some pathology in your uterus only.Pain can also be accompanied with loose motions in that area and you also might be having some kind of urinary infection which might be causing that pain(the pain would wean of as soon your intestinal infection gets better and your discharge seems to reduce). Creamy white discharge should be due to fungal or yeast infection only, Apply that cream candid b ...

Hi.. Im 24 yr old male. i have an habit of masturbation. i think in my school 8th class i did masturbation first time. After a year it became a habit for me. i’m very much ashamed of having this habit. After doing masturbation, I hate myself that I cant control it. I think to control doing next time, but finally again I do it. From that time to till now I cant stop this habit. So more or less I masturbate twice a week anyway and in rare cases thrice a week. Accidentally during my college time I watched some programs in tv saying that masturbation causes not able to do sexual intercourse with partner. It causes not able to give a baby after marriage. After seeing that type of programs I got very much afraid of my life. Before two years I did laser eye surgery. Before surgery they did all pre-test for me. Then they said that your nerves are weak so we need to do two more extra test. After that extra test doctor said that we can do the surgery there’s nothing problem regarding the nerve weakness. I Think may be its family gene problem having nerve weakness. Maybe your grandfather too could had nerve weakness in his life. And now after two years of eye surgery I didn’t face any problems. As doctor said my nerves are weak in my body from my small age. After masturbating all these days I feel my nerves got more weak than before. I don’t know whether it is due to masturbation. But nowadays after masturbation I get head pain back side sometimes and not everytime. Anyway I feel nerves are weak in my body.I’m afraid very much that I cant do sexual intercourse with my partner if I get married. I’m afraid that I cant make my wife pregnant after my marriage. Please help me can I make a baby with sexual intercourse after my marriage? Do I’ve to get any treatment regarding sexual or regarding my nerve weakness or do I’ve to check whether can I make a baby with good sexual intercourse??

  Doctor's Answer

Hi, Fatigue means thakaan or to get tired easily, the symptoms you described are not of nerve weakness.Rest other symptoms are very normal things which many people might face and it is difficult to comment may be there is some thing locally on your back which might be irritating you or may be some kind of allergy. If you really feel that way when you masturbate then get your self checked up to a nearest doctor and he might have to do investigation and various tests to confirm if everything is fi ...

My periods came on 12 March 2013 and had sex with my husband on 19th March 2013 and after two hours I took I-Pill and on 23rd March 2013, got bleedings but not as heavy as in periods and it remained till 25th March 2013, after that I didn't got my periods till date i.e. 7th May 2013. I am very worried as don't want to get pregnant right now. What should I do?

  Doctor's Answer

Hi, Since you have already missed your periods once in april and you did not mention anything about may kindly mention about that also. Now you have to do a urine pregnancy test first to confirm if there is any pregnancy or not. If it comes out to be positive then we have both medical and surgical options to abort pregnancy. Urine pregnancy test can be negative also, drugs like emergency contraceptive are know to delay periods and that can happen normally also but you will have to confirm with u ...
