If you are not having any health problems like high Blood pressure, hyper thyrodism, Epilepsy, high BMR , etc to name a few you only need to remove the fear phobia associated with dentistry which can be achieved by counselling and premedication. In experts hand dentistry is relatively painless. Find a Skilled dentist and get your work done in faith

I agree with Dr Mansuri. But to be on safe side I recommend that u get yourself checked for hypertension and Blood sugar. If every thing is fine with all reports you visit the same person with confidence and do the needful

If its a simple tooth extraction other than an impaction, may be just good assurance, confidence instilled by your dentist, extra care and a bit of diversion is sufficient. Always remember, even the most brave and strong humans are scared of dental procedures. If your dentist is also sweating then go to a different dentist.

Hi. If you r a medically fit patient then the symptoms you are describing are of a classic pre-syncope. Syncope is one of the commonest complications of local anesthesia administration and it is nothing but your common fainting. A skilled dentist knows how to manage a syncopal attack. All you need to do is allay your fear about needles and go for a morning appointment after having a decent meal. You should be fine.

actually main region is hypoglycemia , plz dont worry after breakfast go to ur dentist in morning only u wont get any problem .........................................................

Hello i had my no 48 wisdom tooth removed on thursday morning and its been nearly 3 days now. What i wanted to know was i have noticed yesterday and today that the gum which had folded over the extraction site has receeded and left behind a thin white strand of tissue. is this a normal part of the healing process. I am not in any pain and have not smoked since the day of extraction (before). Also i know your advice will be to stop permanently but how long should i wait till i can smoke again

  Doctor's Answer

The tissue tag should resolve in 7-14 days max. rinse with warm water (mix in salt) 3-5 times a day to help keep the wound clean. smoking is a personal choice. IF you truly have NOT smoked post extraction you may start now. ...

My left wisdom tooth has been growing in side ways, but has not been able to come in fully. It started hurting about two days ago. I did not think anything of it and thought it was just growing in more. There was a flap of skin/gum covering part of the tooth. When I went to brush my teeth this morning, I noticed that part of it (underneath where the skin covered before) was now a blackish color. I got a sore throat and swollen lymph nodes only on the left side of my throat around the same time my tooth started hurting. Are these related? I have a dentist appointment in a week. Is there anything I can do to help it to make it better or ease the pain? It hurts to chew on that side of my mouth and it hurts when I swallow. Will my tooth be okay until I get to the dentist and what will be done by the dentist? Do you think my tooth is infected? Will I have to take antibiotics?
