I underwent laminectomy for d12- l1 region because of a fall from second floor and its been 2 and half years now. I cannot stay in stting or standing position for more than 15 to 20 minutes at a strech. Now recently I`m getting pain as while I try to bend and rise. Please let me if any thing went wrong in the operated part. I have two rods and four screws inserted.

Hi, If the pain has been there continuously just after the procedure then you should have visited the hospital you got your treatment,that's fine you did not want to spend money but still at least you should have known what is the problem behind this. Indian government provides free medical care to all and review any government hospital and at least they will know what is the problem behind your pain and their are institutes which have tests like mri at very less price or at discounted prices ...

My mother suffers from a knee pain and is feeling difficult to walk. The pain occurs only in one position. She says it is like a thorn prick or 2 bones touching each other inside. I am experiencing right flank pain upon waking. Pain is localized, sharp, stabbing and has increased in intensity over a 10 day period. Pain is relieved once I am able to stand and move about, but will return any time I am in a supine position. I had a CT today that ruled out kidney stones. I had a liver transplant in 2010 due to NASH, and have done well.

I have had for a long time a very painfull and at times swollen ankle, afater falling in a rabbit hole and badly twisting the ankle took a week off from work and to be honest went back to work to soon, the ankle has over the years become more painfull and after a very busy shift on a very busy NHS ward I can hardly walk, have been many times to the Drs all they advise is give up your job and keep taking Tramadol and paracetamol I have arthritis in most joints for which I take the medication, recently the ankle has started to click in one position causing agonising pain this usually last a few minutes until the ankle unclicks, as its quote making your condition worse, What other test can I ask for , as all I get offered is x rays?

You can get X-rays done but MRI would be more informative. As per your history it seems to by soft tissue problem more than bony problem. ...

Hello There, My friend while driving a moped fall off to the ground to avoid a volley ball which came off from the ground. At first, he was able to bend his right knee but had pain while walking on first day. After seeing the general physician he put on a case to rest his knee in straight position. X'ray report suggest no harm to bone. Today he is saying he is able to walk and no pain but not able to bend his right knee and feels the pain. Ortho doctors felt that there could be ligament fracture. Question now is : Is it through MRI scan only the ligament tear or fracture can be known ? If it is a facture or tear, what is the treatment ? Is surgery must or can be cured with medicine/rest ? Please let know. Thank you

ankylosing spondylitis: I am 38 yr old 1977 born. Suffering with Ankylosing spondylytes When i was 20 yrs (1997) , then first time had sever leg pain ( from hip to down) and took ibruofin to control It was there now and then and used ibruofin when pain comes Later 13 yrs in 2010 the hip pain ( from hip to down , pain sever during night and morning ) is continuous then when examinded found out that it is Ankylosing spondylytes. In examination HLAB27 is +ve and MRI scan with C-reactive protein (CRP); erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR); high levels Took physiotherapy session for 10 days with rest and it controlled Later now and then pain used to come then mostly I was bearing without taking any drug..... But if pain is very severe and need to travel then used Naprosyn 250 some times else try to manage with pain without medication But in 2013 ( I moved another city, and from next day itself) this time sever body pains majorly back pain and neck pain and stiffness which restricts movememnts started.... continuously..... but i was reluctantn to taken any pain killers and managed like that only ... for almost 2 yrs !!!! during this time my movements are restricted and walking style changed.... But during this time when ever i went to my home town i felt bit better.... but on return position is same.... Recently in 2015 July .... suddently on both feet got swelling and sever pain... not able to walk also .... then contacted rhumotologist then rhumotologist prescribed below medcine after blood tests: Blodd tests: C-reactive protein (CRP) - 99 ; erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) -13; plasma viscosity (PV). ( Not done) Vitamin D: 18 and using below Medcine: Gave Afec injection For one motnh Saaz DS :Morning - Night Ziffinac : when pain there BGcal-ctf Night PDOM-SR :morning ZEMPRED : 16 mg used for 12 days morning - night and for 5 days: monrnng 16 mg - night 8mg and for 5 days: monrnng 16 mg - night 4mg Immustar Pls suggest based on my conditions what shoud be done? (Some one telling to take Remicade/infimab injections !!!! which i dont prefer as it needs to be continued after some yrs it seems also expensive) (is homeopathy good option) Regs, Mohan
