no within 3 months u wont be getting oral cancer.if u have any oral ulcers in your mouth which does'nt healing consult your nearer dentist.

No, there are negligible chances of getting Oral Cancer within 3 months.
The doctor can detect only if you are symptomatic and have suspicious oral lesions.
If any suspicious lesions, the doctor can opt for a biopsy to detect any cancerous growth.

hello,
first of all congratulations for quitting a bad habit of smoking. As such there are minimal chances for a cancer to develop within 3 months but certain factors may help you in diagnosing any precancerous condition. they are :-

a) recurrent oral ulcers.
b) burning sensation in mouth during eating food.
c) inadequate or reduced mouth opening (all 4 fingers of your hand are not going inside your mouth simultaneously).
d) general debility of body.

if you fall under any of the above category, plz do have a checkup from a dentist as soon as possible. feel free to query further.

There is rarest possibility of getting oral cancer by smoking hookah for 3 months, however there are multiple other causes of oral cancer. You can get check-up done for any person in doubt and doctor can easily diagnose cancer in very early stages also. Do not restart any such bad habit and consume nutritious food to reduce the risk of cancer at any age.

My left wisdom tooth has been growing in side ways, but has not been able to come in fully. It started hurting about two days ago. I did not think anything of it and thought it was just growing in more. There was a flap of skin/gum covering part of the tooth. When I went to brush my teeth this morning, I noticed that part of it (underneath where the skin covered before) was now a blackish color. I got a sore throat and swollen lymph nodes only on the left side of my throat around the same time my tooth started hurting. Are these related? I have a dentist appointment in a week. Is there anything I can do to help it to make it better or ease the pain? It hurts to chew on that side of my mouth and it hurts when I swallow. Will my tooth be okay until I get to the dentist and what will be done by the dentist? Do you think my tooth is infected? Will I have to take antibiotics?

My husband age 65 had to have his lower left wisdom tooth removed because there was a cavity on the tooth before the wisdom tooth. The original doctor only removed the tooth November 26, 2012, was given Norco for pain and recommended to take ibuprofen for pain. My husband had pain, and swelling. Original dentist packed the tooth with a special pack. Husband also applied clove oil. He talked to oral surgeons. Went to another surgeon and was given steroids, and antibiotics. My husband had dry socket and the hole was not closing up. So the new surgeon recommended a water pick and brushing the area vigorously to stimulate circulation. THe hole is closing up. Also, a root tip was found and had to be removed which added new pain. My husband is trying to not taking Norco anymore and trying to reduce ibuprofen. But pain level is 1-3 with twinges in jaw. It's been 8 wks. Is that normal? The original wisdom tooth had fused to the bone and had to be sawed in half to be removed. The cavity still hasn't been filled due to other pain.

You have mentioned dry socket, the appropriate treatment for that is use of local antibiotics and systemic analgesics. Kindly get a radiograph done and ask your dentist to irrigate and flush the area before inserting the local medication. ...

Hi, Since you have not told me about the age of the patient ,with only history available that she was a smoker, following might be the causes - - Bronchitis - Brochiectasis - Lung carcinoma - Pneumonia For all of these you will have to leave smoking. You may quit smoking suddenly but doctors at might not recommend it because this might suddenly lead to dropping of hormone levels in blood which might cause depression. You have to do the test properly. You have to wait a good 2-3 hours after you put anything (including water) into your mouth. Also, alkaline is Blue almost turning purple. Just a good dark blue. If it is green, you are much more acidic than neutral (7.0 pH), but where you want to be is a bit higher than neutral at 7.4 which is dark blue. And right before you take the test swallow the saliva in your mouth a few times and then draw up fresh saliva from underneath your tongue. And THEN take the tes ...
