I am pregnant after second attempt of ivf. I am 10 weeks pregnant. Today I found out greyish watery discharge per vagina. I had USG done and it reveal choriondecidual separation otherwise baby heart rate is good. I am on tab duphastan, t.endofert, t.gestofit and amino acid sachet. Temporarily withholding t. Ecosprin. I desperately need this baby. Kindly advise

My mom who is 70 has been on ecosprin and other blood thinners since october 2012 after suffering a stroke. She has got her tooth extracted 5 days back. She had stopped ecosprin for a couple of days befrore and after the extraction which she has now resumed. Her gum bleeds quite heavily atleast a couple of times in a day. It stops when we apply a tea leaves and ice pack. Can you please help me understand if this is ok, our stroke doctor is travelling and we are unable to reach him

I have a heart sinking feeling and also the heart rate increases. This also adds up to my anxiety. I got an ECG and TMT done and both came normal. Not sure what next steps should I take? Please advise.

Hi, The heart sinking feeling you described is usually can be due to sudden decrease in blood pressure specially in hypertensives. It can also be due to decrease in blood sugar if you are a diabetic or may be at times it could be stress induced. Now I am 10 weeks pregnant and my doctor is saying that USG is showing that the foetus is 9 weeks old and no such limbs are seen in the foetus. Doctor advised to take Injection CORION 5000IU weekly and ARGIPREG Sachet -1 sachet daily with other regular Tablets like ASA 50(1 daily), SYSFOL PLUS (2tab daily) and DUBAGEST-200(1 daily). Doctor is suspecting the foetus is of poor growth and poor liquor. Doctor said to take Injection for 3 weeks and if any improvements are not found then, I have to discontinue my pregnancy, but I am not in a mood to take such decision. Please guide me if I can carry my pregnancy and what shall I do now?

your case is one of high risk pregnancy as you have had one previous still birth. i am a 24 yr old girl , i had a medical abortion at 6 march 2013 last month. i had all my blood test done prior and it was normal. i had also undergone a pelvic usg and i was 5 weeks pregnant. after 2 weeks from abortion i had a pelvic usg done and doctor reassured it was done and my uterus was empty.i strted bleeding on 21st march 2013 and doctor said she's not sure but could be my periods (bleeding started 1 day after i was assured uterus empty). yesterday 03 april 2013 about after 30 days , i am having right side lower abdominal pain travelling downwards and diarhea all day and discharge from vagina. the discharge is not smelly but its continusly coming like a string . i am worried as i do not know what is happening . why am i having diarrhea pain and discharge. is it jus a virus or do i have some infection ? Pid ?

Hi, The pain in lower abdominal area which you are felling near your uterus is not necessary,that there is some pathology in your uterus only.Pain can also be accompanied with loose motions in that area and you also might be having some kind of urinary infection which might be causing that pain(the pain would wean of as soon your intestinal infection gets better and your discharge seems to reduce). Only animal studies have confirmed that there are risks to the fetus and results are thus applicable to human studies. Drugs like cifran affect joints of developing fetus if taken for prolonged periods in pregnancy.Whether the fetus is getting affected or not in your case cannot be said with absolute certainty as there are no studies to show that effect of this drug is visible in 100% cases or in such early pregnancy cifran has any effect.Also,there can be other factors affecting the pregnancy ...
