Hi im almost 5 weeks pregnant and having bad cramps on my abdominal and also having lower back aches. Is alaxan safe to take or can cause miscarriage? Thanks in advance.

Please donâ€™t take Alaxan for your body aches. What you are expeiencing are normal pregnancy symptoms. If you really must take pain reliever, stick with Paracetamol. Have yu had your transvaginal ultrasound already? To make sure you are having anormal pregnancy.

My right lower lip has been twitching and pulling in a downward pull on and off for the last couple of days. I googled it and i found that it could be a symptom of "Hemifacial spasm". But i cannot ascertain unless i take an expert opinion. Thanks in advance!

My wife had a HSG Test done w/ x-rays 4 days ago. Last night she was complaining about a sharp pain in the lower left quadrant of her lower abdomen. She said it was very painful and was not going away or becoming less intense. By the time for today came, she was complaining about the pain, it being 5/5 at times. She described this pain as a sharp stabbing constant pain. However, now the pain is radiating around the lower left of her abdomen to her lower left back. The area is very tender and the pain spikes even when slightly pushed on in both the areas, abdomen and lower back. Is this a common side-effect of having the HSG Test? Especially if both of her tubes are blocked and she has been diagnosed with Endometriosis. Please help me figure this out so I know whether or not she needs to be seen at a hospital.

Hi, By telling that she also has fever,one thing is confirmed that she has an infection. Now if she has problem in her micturition too then either the infection is in her urinary tract or the pelvis which will have to be seen first and then an antibiotic can be started. Hi!! The pain after getting an HSG test done,will not come after 4-5 days as you have described,rather this pain is probably due to other causes. Pain due to endometriosis is present more just before the onset of menses and during menses. i took two i-pills(birth control pills) on consecutive days. my periods are delayed by almost 18 days. i also have abdominal pain and i vomited once. does this mean that i am pregnant ?

i am a 24 yr old girl , i had a medical abortion at 6 march 2013 last month. i had all my blood test done prior and it was normal. i had also undergone a pelvic usg and i was 5 weeks pregnant. after 2 weeks from abortion i had a pelvic usg done and doctor reassured it was done and my uterus was empty.i strted bleeding on 21st march 2013 and doctor said she's not sure but could be my periods (bleeding started 1 day after i was assured uterus empty). yesterday 03 april 2013 about after 30 days , i am having right side lower abdominal pain travelling downwards and diarhea all day and discharge from vagina. the discharge is not smelly but its continusly coming like a string . i am worried as i do not know what is happening . why am i having diarrhea pain and discharge. is it jus a virus or do i have some infection ?
