Hi. I get pain in back side of head. The pain occurs exactly above the neck(back side) below the skull. It occurs sometimes not often. I dont know why that pain occurs. As i noted it occurs when i read something in a moving vehicle mostly and in another situations sometimes. If i get that pain i cant bear the pain. Then i take this tablet:- SAP-A(Aceclofenac and Paracetamol tablet). After taking this tablet the pain reduces. This tablet was prescribed by a neurologist once when i met him due to this pain. How can i cure this? I'm very much afraid of it. Is it migraine? or is it brain tumour? Pls help me is it curable??

Hi,

Pain of migraine is always associated with some thing like flash light , hunger , strong sun light and usually is located on one side of the head , and you did not tell anything about that.
If you want to rule out any tumor or something , you may get a mri done for your self .
Other wise the headache can occur due to decresed convergence of eye sight or some problem in eyes , when was the last time you got it checked .
Do you have any problem of eye discharge ?
Avoid reading in a moving vehicle.
Also avoid taking regular pain killers .

I dont take that tablet regularly. Only when pain comes i take that tablet. I had laser for my eyes before two years. What is decreased convergence of eyesight mean? And what is eye discharge?

Hi,

Eye discharge means is there any kind of watering or any other what comes from eyes ?
When was the last time you got your vision checked ?
How frequently do you have pain ?
What did you get laser for ?
It is difficult to explain , just type pen convergence excercise on google and read it thoroughly.
Do that excercise multiple times daily.

Hi, I dont get any kind of watering from my eyes. I visited my eye hospital before 3 months ago. I dont get pain in any frequent method particularly. It occurs when i read or concentrate something in a moving vehicle. And sometimes in other situations that i cant find what for it occurs. When pain comes i take tablet. Hi,

It just seems that you might have difficulty in convergence , because you have pain while reading in a moving vehicle and have no other complaint.
I would advice you to get vision checked from a reliable centre by an opthalmologist and not by an optometrist , if you were previously prescribed a glass then you should wear them regularly.
Avoid reading in a moving vehicle , and do the pen convergence excercise multiple times a day.

I hv been having problems of dizziness, and spinning sensations since last 4/5 days. Had the same earlier abt 2 yrs back but on a very mild scale and they went away without any medication. This time it has been rather acute. Visited the physician and hv been prescribed Vertin 8 mg 1x3 times a day before bkfst, lunch and dinner. After three days feeling better but the sensations are still there albeit milder. Feel the spinning sensation especially when I look straight up/down and then bring the head back to normal posn.Again when I am changing sides on bed while lying down from left to right rpt left to right I feel the same sensation. Tho' the dizziness and the spinning sensations are less now after taking the dosages of Vertin 8 last three days would u hv any advice as to how long it takes normally for the problems to be totally eliminated? I am particularly concerned as I am, tho' a retired person, a man of fairly active habits and for the various domestic chores often hv to drive quite a bit in heavy city traffic and as a result of this problem am completely grounded which is affecting our day-to-day life styles and needs.

Hi, Tablet Vertin is used for relief of vertigo due to several reasons, but it is to be known why is this vertigo occurring. For that reason MRI and other tests needs to be done. Hello, I have had a nail fungus for a good ten years or so. When I first noticed it, I went to my doctor and he game me lamasil which I stopped taking after a few days since it had negative affects on me. Thereafter, I stopped taking care of it and just let it go for a good 7 or 8 years. I eventually grew up and started getting very self conscious of how it looked and wanted to wear sandals and flip flops and not have people think nasty things about me. A few years ago I went to my doctor again and he gave me a topical oil which I used for over a year and did not see any results. About two years ago, I noticed that a vertical brown line was starting to grow from the bottom up. I went to a dermatologist who took a sample of my nail but did not take a sample of the nail bed or from the cuticle. Biopsy came back as of course it being a fungus. He in turn gave me pills to take which I also had to stop taking since it was having a bad affect on my liver. After that, my dermatologist said that he would give me laser treatments which I did two of. They did not clear it but it looks a little bit better then what it was before. Still thick, yellow, crumbling below the nail, nail bed where new nail is growing is darker then the others and the brown line is still there. It is a thick brown line. How did I get this brown line? Did I get it because of the prolonged damage of the nail bed due to the years of having the nail fungus?

You're most welcome. Nail Melanoma does not affect multiple nails together while Longitudunal Melanonychia (LM) often does. The fact that an additional nail is showing changes is nearly conclusive that this is LM, which as I said is harmless. However it would be best to see your doctor to get this confirmed since I cannot see the affected area. A little over 3 weeks ago I went to the Dr for what he said was a really bad sinus infection. I was prescribed a 10 day course of antibiotics & I felt better. Well the last week Ive had a sore throat on the left side, an ear ache on the same side, a chesty cough I never got rid of and now bad breath. There are red streaks on the back of my throat which I assume are just from the stress of constantly coughing. I called the dr. & told him my symptoms and he seemed unalarmed and prescribed me another 10 day course of amoxicillian. My only concern is that its not a sinus infection because my sinuses aren't bothering me this time around - Im not even congested. Any ideas what it could be? Should I call the DR and make him actually see me or will the amox work? Please no smart-alec comments about dental hygiene -- I brush 3 times a day & floss, so its not because i am not brushing

Hi, The foreskin on my penis is quite tight and I am not able to retract that easily. I am in a planning for marriage in next 2 - 3 months. So any resolution for the above problem? I have checked for options and came to know that Circumcision can be an option but worried about the process of removal of complete foreskin. I personally feel that foreskin is a very sensitive part of penis comprised of vital sex nerves, which helps to release sensual felling during masturbation/sexual activity but as the part of process to circumcision surgery, the foreskin need to be cut away so, worried that, without foreskin how I can get sexual sensation in future or during foreplay? Hi, Usually tight fore skin indicates that you either had phimosis or infection or scarring of your fore skin,which has to be removed now.
