Can I continue taking ovacare during periods?

Hello Doc I am diagnosed for PCOS ,TTC with siphene 100mg. On the 13th day of my periods the follicular study shows Right 8.3X8mm ,left 9.9X7.2 mm, i was not convinced with the scan report due to some reasons which i faced during my previous scan ,so went for another ultrasound scan from another hospital on the 14th day of my periods. The folicular size on 14th day shows Right :10.6x7.6mm and Left 14.9X9.4mm My question here is how can the follicules in a day grow from 9.9x7.2mm to 14.9X9.4 mm? and are there any chances for me to concieve this time with follicules 14.9x9.4 mm on the 14th day by an HCG shot at the right time ? and taking ultrasound scans many times is of any harm ????

Hi, Ideally if some one has a regular cycle(periods) the follicle should be mature and ready to rupture on thirteenth day,size of a mature follicle is around 20-21mm when it ruptures. It depends why metformin is given to you if the only cause is pcod and is just given for this then it would be stopped after you conceive,but if you have type 2 diabetes(insulin resistance) along with pcod then it would be continued life long. By taking Normaxin every day night after dinner I am getting good results for IBS. How long should I continue ? I am taking since last six months. Should I continue for long term ?

Hi, Normaxin is usually given for gastric ulcer and irritable bowel syndrome and it will act on daily basis only. The prescription is decided from patient to patient. If it is prescribed to you since so long, there should be some reason because usually it is prescribed for lesser period of time - around 1.5-2 months or so, but it all depends on the patient in the end. It does not have any side effects on heart except that it can cause tachycardia(fast heart rate ) and other effects like dry mo ...

No much symptoms of frequent urination or pain during passing Urine. On a routine check up, found prostate gland enlargement. On a scan found that prostate - 4.3 x 6 x 5.7 cm (63gms). PVR 48cc and Uroflowmetry (voided volume 0433ml). PCA test shown normal result (2.18 ng/mL). Doctor advised for Afdura 1 tab during night. Had it for one month and went for 2nd test and the result shown as Prostate 62gms (voided volume 0310 ml) and PVR 37 cc. Doctor advised to continue Afdura for another 2 months. Feeling normal except some trumbling feeling (mussle shrinking all over the Body - occassionally during sleep. ( No normal allergic sympts like drowziness of Afdura) Other wise comfortable with normal urination and no pain or any uneasiness during urination. I have to do Hernia surgery and waiting for this Afdura course of medicne to be over. Can I continue with Afdura... Can I go for Hernia Operation

Hi, Although i don't think there should be some problem in carrying with afdura,or going ahead with surgery. The drug might be stopped just before surgery,rest it depends upon your examination. i had my last periods on 20th jan 2013 ,which went on for 5 days.After that till april15th 2013 i did not get my periods , so i consulted a gynaecologist , who did a pregnancy test ,which turned out to be negative. SO she prescribed me Cycloreg for 5 days , 3 times a day. i took all the tablets till 19th APril 2013, and still i did not get periods till 29th april.SO i again consulted my doctor ,n this time pregnancy test was positive . My Antenatal ultrasound shows i am 4-5 weeks pregnant now my question is - what are the effects of cycloreg on the baby.SHould i terminate or continue with pregnancy??

Hi!! As you have said,on a scale of 1 to 10,chances that fetus is affected are 1 out of 10. Also, it is quite likely that the fetus is not affected at all. Whether the chances are that that this is curable or not depends upon the extent of the problem. ...

hello dr. I used condom each and every time while having sex but this month I missed my period. I am having a regular period with 28 days of cycle. but now it crossed 35 days. I'm in little doubt that am I pregnant? but how can I conceive when I'was using condom each and every time? I heard about mensurol tablet to continue period. I want to know that is it a abortion pills? would it be okay to take it to continue my period? can it harm to my further pregnancy? I'm not sure i'm pregnant or not if I'm pregnant then it is my first pregnancy. even I got married February 29 last year but I and my husband also not ready for child because still I'm studying and it will take 6 months to complete. I'm very confused what should I do..!! please help me.......

Hi, Even condoms are not 100 percent effective at times leakage can occur in a condom and you can even get pregnant by pre penile secreations, may be secreations you might have had during fore play. Mensurol tablet is an ayurvedic tablet so i am not 100 percent sure but yes it is an abortion pill and causes bleeding to occur.
