About a year ago I had a serious dental problem. I had an apicectomy performed and the surgeon left a lot of leftover amalgam inside my jaw. To cut a long story short my body rejected the amalgam and it started to come out of my jaw in pieces. Before the dentist realised what the problem was he prescribed about 4 courses of antibiotics and this led to a very severe balanitis after the 4th course. It got treated succesfully with cream and fluconazol(150mg). Now It seems to return in a very mild form lasting a couple of days after I treat with cream every couple of months or so. Do I need to visit the doctor again or should I wait until it stops naturally? I had surgery to remove the amalgam from the jaw when they realised that that was causing the inflammation. My jaw is recovering very well.

I think post surgery, Your dentist must have taken the X-Ray to confirm complete removal of amalgum. Balantitis most likely is coincidental need to consult dermatologist for same. ...

Hi, Yes the condition can get very serious and can be told only after examination and you just can't wait for so long,even if the hospital is far contact your freinds or family whom so ever might be there to help you. You have to rush to a hospital, in which ever state you are there are private as well as goverment run hospiatls. This condition cant be treated on phone or mail,this is serious. Hi I have disc bulge at L4, L5 since4 years . I am now working part time at a school . My supervisor requires me to take stairs for taking child from 2nd floor class to basement gym and back. I am 64 yrs old. I fell 8 years ago and landed on my right hand. A few months ago my wrist started hurting and swelled up. I have had my MRI and the ligament is completely gone. I am considering having the Modified Brunelli Procedure. The pain is getting worse and I have a lot of clunking in the wrist. I do have another visit with my Dr. to discuss this further. Dear Diksha, If the pain has occured after tooth restoration it may be bcoz of high points or the restoration is causing irritation in the tooth , which can be better evaluated with iopa xray and if needed then the restorarion could be removed the rct must be done .
