my wife is suffering from uterine fibroid with prominent left falopian tube as found in sonography done recently.the report is as follows : uterus appears mildly bulky and appx measures 8.4 x 5.2 x 4.4 cms. .it appears slightly globular in shape. it shows inhomogeneous parenchymal echotexture. there is relatively well defined iso-hypoechoic intramural fibroid of appx size 3.7 x3.5 x 2.7 cms seen in posterior myometrium.no obvious degenerating areas or vascularity noted. this lesion is in close proximity to the endometrial stripe.it appears to cause displacement and mild distorsion of the adjacent endometrial stripe.endometrial thickness is appx 6mm .the left falopian tube appears prominent (10-11mm). no other obvious focal lesion seen in the uterus. So, pl. suggest probable treatments.How can she get rid of uterine fibroids?

Hi I am 27 years old, got married in February 2015 last week and concieved in March but had abortion a month back i.e. on 10th May as baby's growth was stuck at 5 weeks though I was 10 weeks pregnant by then (Dr. never told the reason behind this problem). That was my first pregnancy, u/s post abortion revealed 1 cyst in right ovary and two cysts in left, largest one measured 22 x19 mm, a small fibroid in uterus measuring 17 x 14 mm, uterus was normal in size & echotexture with 6 mm endometrial thickness. Now u/s after first period dated 25/06/2015 says that cyst in right ovary measures 12 x 9.5 mm and left ovary has 3 cysts with thick internal echoes within, largest cyst measuring 30 x 25. Uterus size is 67 x 39 x 43 mm, combined endometrial thicness is 9.4mm and fibroid reduces to 15 x 12 mm. My Dr. is asking to undergo laproscopy as there is no other way out to cocieve. I want to enquire is it really so, can I really not get pregnant without this surgery? Kindly help, Thanks in Advance!!!

Hi Dr, My name is chi am from Nigeria I have of abnormal bleeding in between my period I went to a doctor she told me I have fibroid &polyps, I try another one he say I doctor have fibroid or polyps but he described I drug for me CYCLACUR after taken it this month I have not see my period is 30days in stand of 28 days and I still bleed after stool since my day 20 till now is only when I stool. Hi, I have had an ultrasound about 10 days ago which seems to have diagnosed a bulky retroverted uterus, small amount of fluid in the POD, heterogeneous myometrium/adenomyosis and small subserosal calcified fibroid. AM a 48 yr old single lady. Of late my period has been fluctuating (two months on and off) i was adviced to take menstrogen tablets to regulate it. Am not having sex cos of religious beliefs and am not dating BUT HOPEFUL FOR A LIFE PARTNER. I also want to have children when i marry.
