I got my my tooth implantation three months back and i was asked to wait to get a crown since the material was not available then. I would like to add that my appointment to get the sample for the crown was scheduled for the 20th of this month but it has also been cancelled. The time period between the implant placement and the crown fitting depends upon a no of factors,like type of bone available initially ,type of implant placed ,area where the implant is placed etc. The best judge for that is your implant surgeon and he will be able to decide how long to wait before he can load the implant i. e.
