hi. i am 31 weeks pregnant. i had loose motions (diarrhoea), so i took one capsule of eldoper (loperamide hydrochloride 2mg) last night. i am really concerned if that effects foetus. Please answer. i would be grateful to you. thank you

Hi!! loperamide is a drug not recommended in pregnancy ( esp in early pregnancy),but if one dose is taken it does not justify termination of pregnancy or any additional monitoring of the fetus.So ,don't take any other doses of loperamide . hello, i have cough and running nose from 2 days and some tooth aches from couple of weaks... i went to local medical store and i toled my problem he suggested me almox 500.. i brought it.. should i take these capsule . he suggested me take 1 capsule in morning and 1 capsule in the night..? what should i do ?

First of all you should visit to your Family Physician for your running nose and cough and also to a Dentist for tooth ache, instead of a medical store. Although Almox is not a complete answer for your problem; Medicine and its doses depends on the severity of your problem and the line of treatment decided by your Doctor. 1)near complete proximal anterior cruciate ligament tear is seen. 2)grade 2 medial collateral ligament sprain is noted 3)undisplaced longitudinal tear of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus is noted 4)contusion of the posterolateral tibial plateau is noted 5)contusion changes are noted around the popliteus tendon and posterolateral join capsule 6)moderate to large joint effusion is noted 7)the lateral meniscus appears normal in configuration and signal intensities 8)posterior cruciate ligament appears normal in course, calibre,signal intensities and bony attachments. This is my husband's MRI scan reports. We are not able to understand the severeness of the injury. Pls suggest a suitable remedy

From the report I can understand that the scan was done immediately after injury. It appears that the ligament is torn which might need surgery. But the patient needs to be seen first.
