Hi,

You will have to give two tablets of forecox to a 60 kg man.
There are some common side effects of all the drugs like nausea, vomiting, pain in abdomen, indigestion, pruritis
Then rifampicin which is there in it can cause hepatitis and disturb your liver function test,so get it checked off and on
Pyrizinamide in this drug can cause joint pain, arthralgia and vomiting
Ethambutol can cause optic neuritis(eye problems),then the common side effects.
Isoniazid can also cause your liver function test to be disturbed,so you should get it checked it once in a while and rashes and anemia.
In short get your medical check up once in a while when you are on treatment for tubeculosis.
Don't have a lot of tea and coffe along with the treatment and have good and high protein treatment along with treatment.

I have had amenerhea after the pill and had not had a period since last April (9 months ago). My OB put me on progesterone to induce withdrawal bleed and is likely going to diagnose PCOS. She is supposed to call today but first labs showed a Fsh:lh of over 3:1 so it looks like PCOS. I am having a very painful withdrawal bleed on this progesterone. Started with right side pain, constant ache in pelvic region now, and pain during bowel movements/urination? Does this sound normal for a progesterone withdrawal bleed?

  Doctor's Answer

Hi, Small cyst rupturing does not cause pain usually and since you are better with nsaids, you don't need to do anything and may continue with nsaids. But haemorrhagic cyst are painful(extreme degree) and if your pain is not relieved by nsaids or you think pain is aggravating or it may be unbearable,it will be advisable to go for an ultrasound abdomen to rule out any kind of haemorrhage. Feel free to ask more questions. ...

The odd taste came approximately the same time I increased my Estrace dose from 0.5mg q hs to 0.75. I also take prometrium as well as 50mcg of Synthroid, which I take in the morning. Last night, the metalic taste, which now seems like a copper taste, was so intense I felt like I had electicity in my mouth.
