Hi,

Yes the thyroid needs to be maintained at normal levels and it can make it difficult for you getting pregnant,or can be the cause of repeated abortions also.
Your tsh levels are still a little high,tsh can range from lab to lab but it should be till 4 for major labs(normal values are written along with your values) and may be the dose of thyronorm may be needed to be increased for now to bring tsh levels further down.
Yes the thyronorm has to be continued for life,however the dose might be reduced to very low if you are maintaining normal levels.
Yes thyroid can be the cause of abortions but many tests needs to be done if you have lost two pregnancies at 3 months.

Hi, I stared the HCG diet 10 days ago using the drops. I also am trying to have a baby so I had sex three times during the week of ovulation. Last period was on January 8. I have had pregnancy symptoms, five positive pregnancy tests, no period. I did have some spotting but it was brown which makes me think that I am pregnant. I am not sure if it is the HCG drops causing a false positive test. Last night I put some of the drops on a pregnancy test and it was a faint positive. My dr. recommended a blood test and then another 48 hours later. I have poor insurance coverage as I am a business owner, and I don't want to spend the money on the blood tests this early. I usually have a 28-31 day cycle. I am thinking of just waiting a couple of weeks, I live a healthy lifestyle. Advice, sorry to ramble on. Jaclyn

Hi Jaclyn!! your issues as to whether the test for pregnancy is actually positive or not are actually confirmed by the serum beta hcg which if doubles in 48 hours means a viable and growing pregnancy. please get the blood tests for the pregnancy done as told. Hi.. Im 24 yr old male. i have an habit of masturbation. i think in my school 8th class i did masturbation first time. After a year it became a habit for me. iâ€™m very much ashamed of having this habit. After doing masturbation, I hate myself that I cant control it. i had my last periods on 20th jan 2013 ,which went on for 5 days.After that till april15th 2013 i did not get my periods , so i consulted a gynaecologist , who did a pregnancy test ,which turned out to be negative. SO she prescribed me Cycloreg for 5 days , 3 times a day. i took all the tablets till 19th APril 2013, and still i did not get periods till 29th april.SO i again consulted my doctor ,n this time pregnancy test was positive . My Antenatal ultrasound shows i am 4-5 weeks pregnant now my question is - what are the effects of cycloreg on the baby.SHould i terminate or continue with pregnancy??

hello dr. I used condom each and every time while having sex but this month I missed my period. I am having a regular period with 28 days of cycle. but now it crossed 35 days. I'm in little doubt that am I pregnant? but how can I conceive when I'was using condom each and every time? I heard about mensurol tablet to continue period. Hi, Even condoms are not 100 percent effective at times leakage can occur in a condom and you can even get pregnant by pre penile secreations, may be secreations you might have had during fore play.
