Hello Mani......... your medical history is not given but i assume you to be in your late 20's or early mid 30's. Your clinical condition seems to be like pericoronitis meaning inflammation(swelling) around the gum region of your wisdom tooth. Depending on the amount of eruption or the angle of the tooth, after a clinical examination, your doctor will be in a position to advice you the required treatment. Personally, i feel wisdom teeth should be extracted as early as possible as they create more problems later on such as periodontal pockets & decay of adjoining tooth. Kindly get it evaluated as early as possible. Good Luck !!

It seems your 3rd molar (wisdom tooth) is erupting.
Better contact nearby dentist let them do the examination and will prescribe you some medicines which will reduce swelling, pain etc and then if necessary will advice for extraction of the same.

you had mentioned your age, but going through your history , you are suffering from a condition known as pericorinitis. treatment includes- oral prophylaxis around that tooth, mild analgesic combined with antiinflammatory drug, and a mouth rinse for 3 days

Hi mani. These kind of symptoms are associated with wisdom tooth/third molar eruption which happens during 17-28years of age. Gum swelling is pericoronitis which needs to be examined and treated locally. You should visit your nearest dentist for a definitive treatment after the clinical examination. Take care.

Hey Mani......!!, Please verify your age. Assuming it to be between 18-25, it seems as if your 3rd Molar might be in eruptive phase. Diagnosis for your swelling may be a clinical condition known as Pericoronitis. Treatment would to Extract the Wisdom tooth ASAP.

Hi Mani!
The symptoms that you gave relate to the erupting 3rd molar, also known as WISDOM TOOTH. So I assume that you must be in the age group of 18-25. In that case a mild analgesic combined with an anti-inflammatory drug will be useful along with warm saline rinses 3-4 times a day for about 3-4 days. Visit your local dentist for an assesment whether the tooth needs to be extracted or not. Take care.

If there is no opposing tooth in your lower jaw, then after necessary IOPA Xrays or an OPG, take necessary medication prescribed by your dentsit and go for extraction(Tooth Removal). If the tooth is not erupting in proper alignment also , get it removed.

Most probably a case of erupting / impacted wisdom tooth causing inflammation with or without associated infection .
For immediate relief ,take a short course of anti inflammatory medication with antibiotics as deemed suitable by your dentist and then post X-ray examination you an take a call whether extraction is necessary or you can wait and keep it in observation till it erupts fully .
Hope this is useful to you.
