PAST HISTORY : I had my left eye cataract surgery on 1 February 2013 with Hb level 7.5 gdl
as on 8 April the Haemoglobin is 7.3 gdl. Blood smear test was taken and no infection were found

Cataract surgery can be done at this Hb level, may be you are having other systemic problem which can get worse at this level during or after surgery.

Though eye surgery can slill be done at this level as it is bloodless surgery by clear coneal phako, you are exposed to infection as your body immunity is on the lower side. You may have a blood transfusion a week before to impove the level befire the surgery
