Hi,
A sore tongue is a source of discomfort in speaking, eating and it draws your attention all the time. A severe cut is definitely going to hurt a lot specially with chillies, spices and hot food.
Ulcer on the tongue can be due to poor oral hygiene or badly fitted teeth. You may improve or pay attention to your oral hygiene, including brushing, mouth washing ,repairing of teeth and maintaining adequate vitamin b complex. Local application of mouth paints are quite helpful. An antibiotic is quite helpful if any acute infection.
