Hello,
I see that you are worried regarding your cholesterol levels and your sgot levels. To start up I would like to tell you that amongst the common causes of raised sgot level is fatty liver commonly seen in alcoholics and people who are obese or overweight. Your sgot levels are not alarmingly high and do not worry about them, they should come down as you start reducing your ldl levels (cholesterol levels)
To reduce cholesterol initially you should limit your alcohol intake to about 120- 150 ml a week and also reduce your fried food intake which includes fried chicken or may be fish. You can have a little of roasted fish and you should also look that you should not be having saturated oil as they are a part of bad foods. Say no to sweets and special direct sugar if you have a sweet tooth.
For positive stuff you should try out regular walk for around 30 mins. daily for atleast 5 times a week, have plenty of fresh fruits and have vegetables which are high in fiber content. Drugs are indicated if you fail at all these stuff. Statin group of drugs are recommended but for start up, I will recommend you to start with limiting yourself up because that is the most important thing.
I hope you feel satisfied and for any other query please feel free to ask any question.
