I was having cough and cold since last 7-8 days !! i took wikoryl which decreased it but still it was there so doctor gave me novaclox with it . Still i have some cough problem but with it now i am facing another problem i.e. my tooth is paining too much ! on front right side of my jaw. please help me out

I have taken a azithral 500 mg for my glands pain in throat ! But after taking this TAB I slept and suddenly I felt like my heart blocked and I have breathing problem too! I have a 22 month old daughter. She is having fever right now. Today's the first day. Fever is around 102 degrees. I have given her Sinarest paeditric drops 1.5ml. Is that the right dosage? Should I continue with that or should I shift to Calpol Paedritic drops (each ml contains Paracetamol IP 100 mg, colour - sunset yellow). What should be the dosage?

Thanks for your query Sinarest drops contain paracetamol for fever and phenylpropalamine for nasal decongestion. If your daughter is not having any nasal symptoms there is no need to give sinarest drops and these should be given only under medical supervision could be harmful.I suggest you to shift to calpol which is more safe for children.Dose is 15mg/kg.If your daughter is 15 kg u may give her 1.5 ml calpol drops every 6 hourly along with sponging with water at room temperature all over the b ...

Dear doctors, I am a research scholar and working on signal transduction studies and regularly use several irritants and ion channel blockers. I am suffering from excess keratosis on palms and soles and some times deep painful fissures from almost two years. It was started as a small thickening patch an left arm and recovered after treatment with moisturizing creams. After that I went to Japan as part of my research programme and one nurse given me creams with anti-fungal compounds and urea but the problem was enhanced and started the deep fisures on my soles. I came back to India and used homeopathy medicine for one weak and after that i visited a doctor. He suggested me to apply lemon juice trice daily and use vitamin C along with high doses of antifungal tablets and creams. I used this medicine for 6 months which further worsen my situation and my skin became very thick and appeared like toe nails and spread-ed to all areas of palms and soles. I changed the doctor and he given me the isotretinol for 2 months and given vitamin A and D combination for 4 months which improved my condition alot. Now I am taking a dosage of 6000 IU Vit A and 1000 IU Vit D once for every 3days. Whether I will completely relieve from my problem with these medicines or is there any permanent recovery in ayurvedic?

Baby is suffering from cold and more importantly cough since past 2 days. Doctor has prescribed T-minic drops 0.5 ml oral for 3 days and post to which cough didnot subside, then to use Kufril drops 0.5 ml thrice a day. However on using first instance of T-minic baby had pooped 4 times (Can be because he was on antibiotics just a week back for ear infection. His stools were more in number atleast twice after every feed. But once medicnes are stopped his stools were back to normal and he poops only once a day). and also his cough has increased very much. His feeding routine got slightly distrubed as he is not able to complete the bottle with ease. He leaves an ounce or so sometimes due to stuffy nose or congestion. Are these medications safe for a 5 month old baby? if not what precautions to be taken to soothe him from cough and cold?

sir i used to b ur regular comer for my kid vn i was in btm bangalore.ur treatment was so satisfactory. Now v shifrerd to delhi.my younger kid of 1 year old suffering from severe cough n cold from last 1 week.given asthakind n alaspan.now he is pooping daily 5 to 6 times vth phglem in it but cough nt reduced.can u suggest me what to do to soothen cough n cold.what are those medicines for

Hello sir/madam, My wife is carrying and completed 3months. In the month of Dec between 19, 20th dates, she started suffering from cough and cold, so i took her to the doc and she prescribed some tablets and syrup. After few days of medication my wife felt normal, but she was not completely recovered from cough and cold, in the night she is still suffering from nose block, cough & cold, And due to this condition she is not interested to eat food. she is vomiting from her early days of pregnancy. we took blood portfolio during her first month of pregnancy and the reports are normal.(including thyroid) I am very much worried about her, please suggest some home remedies for cough/cold (or) please tell me what should i do. Hi, My daughter is 3 years old and was born with 1.6 KG weight. For 1st two yaers, she was all right and afterwards she is having frequent cough and cold problems. Our doctor ask to use Asthalin and Budecort inhaler 02 puffs twice a day of each. We have started the same and follow for 03 months. During this period she was fine but when we stop using these inhalers, the same problems reoccurs. My questions are: 1. Are these inhalers temporary solution for stressing cold and cough? 2. Do we need to continue the use if these inhalors when problem occurs? 3. What is the permanent treatment of this problem? 4. What are the side effects of prolonged usage of these inhalers?
