Hi,

Thyroid hormone replacement therapy is used in iodine deficiency.If you can increase the iodine content of diet,you may no longer need to go for drugs.

Hormone replacement decreases TSH and lets the thyroid recover. A large goiter that is not improving medical treatment or restricts swallowing/breathing may need partial or complete removal of the gland. If the goiter is making too much thyroid hormone, treatment with radioactive iodine, anti-thyroid medicines, or surgery may be prescribed.

Usually the prognosis of colloid goitre is good.

i have colloid nodular goiter in neck TSH report is normal FNAC report saying colloid nodular goiter what to do now DR saying surgery the above problem was finding with inthe month please guide me what to do now

Hi,

As far as I know, colloid goitre rarely requires surgery. Medical treatment should be enough for the treatment unless it is producing pressure symptoms on wind pipe,food pipe or may be if the surgery is being done for cosmetic reasons.

I believe you should have a second consultation and also visit a nearby doctor.

Hi,

That is what I have told you that I was not convinced why you were told such a thing. You should take a second consultation for that,but it should be at least from an internal medicine specialist or you can even take it from an endocrinologist.

I do not have an idea about homeopathic treatment(drugs).

Hi, I am really stressed and don't want to self diagnos and go crazy, but I have had this (pimple, ulcer, follicule infection or chancre on the side of the shaft of my penis. I don't know which one it is. I don't have medical but I am signing up on Tuesday for state medical..... The story is it appear maybe a week after a day and a half masterbation marathon I am embarrassed to say I had.
