Need an monthly check up package for cholesterol. Doctors has mentioned that bcs of cholesterol and less exercise i got blood pressure. I am doing walking / exercise from last one year still i see the same with blood pressure. is there way to become normal ?

Hi, When you started having amalog (probably amlodipine),I suppose,and till now you have not shown any kind of improvement ,which means higher doses should also be started. I have had a metalic taste in my mouth for a few weeks. Medical conditions: I am going through menopause, so am taking HRT. The odd taste came approximately the same time I increased my Estrace dose from 0.5mg q hs to 0.75. I also take prometrium as well as 50mcg of Synthroid, which I take in the morning. Last night, the metalic taste, which now seems like a copper taste, was so intense I felt like I had electicity in my mouth. I have very good dental hygeine and was recently in for a check up so I have ruled out anything dental. thanks, Paige

hi, I am 26 year old male.My heart pulse rate is 100 bpm at rest, blood pressure range from 120-136/80-90, when high blood pressure I have pain behind eye and headache. I also feel chest tightness sometime. when I walk or do physical activity I can feel slight breath. From recent blood work my chelostorel is 245. what could be the problem?

Hi, You should try to lower it right now with diet first for 3-4 months. If no effects are seen then you may go on with drugs for this(raised cholesterol). Your blood pressure is not high otherwise it is just a little raised for your age. As soon as your cholesterol comes down your b.p will also reduce. My 2 1/2 year old son had the flu and took tamiflu. A week after his symptoms got better he gotta a fever again for 3 days. He developed a large blister on his lower right lp and sores in his mouth. His teeth are sore and he cant drink eat or swallow much. His gums are red and swollen and bleed if we try to brush his teeth or he eat anything hard or crunchy. The doctor gave us amoxicillin but didnt diagnose anything and his mouth is still red and swollen, 6th day. The blister on his lip did not turn in to a coldsore. Its like an ulcer now that it has popped.
