Hii....I am 5.4 n half inches.....i would love to be 5.7...I am 20........My father is 5.7....and mom is 5.5..bro is 6.1.... Can you suggest me some advices so that I can add up the required inches to my height........I do go for work outs and have limited amounts of sweets and junks.. Hi, As a girl you are have moderately nice height and the height is not small. Although your age is such that your bones centre ossification must have already occurred and is difficult that you gain height now. Baby is suffering from cold and more importantly cough since past 2 days. Doctor has prescribed T-minic drops 0.5 ml oral for 3 days and post to which cough didnot subside, then to use Kufril drops 0.5 ml thrice a day. However on using first instance of T-minic baby had pooped 4 times (Can be because he was on antibiotics just a week back for ear infection. His stools were more in number atleast twice after every feed. But once medicnes are stopped his stools were back to normal and he poops only once a day). and also his cough has increased very much. His feeding routine got slightly distrubed as he is not able to complete the bottle with ease. He leaves an ounce or so sometimes due to stuffy nose or congestion. Are these medications safe for a 5 month old baby? if not what precautions to be taken to soothe him from cough and cold?

First of all we need to exclude lower respiratory tract infection which may include pneumonia or bronchiolitis.Take your child to a paediatrician for clinical examination.U mentioned your child was on antibiotics 3 times in last 4 months.Was it due to lactose intolerance only leading to loose motions or for some other illness also ?? We have to see if the cough is dry or wet.If the cough is wet you can give Kufrill LS drops that contains bronchodilator. But if the cough is dry than you have to give your baby Wikoryl AF syrup 3.5ml three times a day. ...

My 2 1/2 year old son has a swollen upper lip (not just the lip, but everything from the bottom of the nose down). He has had a cough for about a week and a half. About a week ago, he started getting a fever every day. Took him to the Dr. 3 days ago, and he has been on antibiotics since then. Fever has since stopped. Cough sounds like it's starting to get better (still bad). Should I be concerned about his swollen lip? I am pretty sure that it was swollen before we went to the Dr., but I didn't think to ask about it while we were there. Also, he hasn't had much of an appetite for about a week now. Most days, he's been eating 4-5 bites of food. (But he seems to be staying well hydrated.) To my knowledge, he hasn't bumped his lip. Nothing new has been introduced to his diet, so I don't think it's an allergic reaction. (He had these same anitbiotics when he was 15 months old) Thanks.
