My Kid is 9 months old but she is underweight by 3 Kgs. Her current weight is 5.9 but she is active!!! As of now, we are giving Similac Stage 2 but her consumption is very very less. We have checked with our Doctors in India but Doctors are forcing us to feed her but she is not at all interested.. Can you please suggest any other solution to increase her appetite.

Thanks for your query Before commenting on her weight i would like to know her birth weight.A gain of half a kg per month is considered optimal.So if she is gaining half kg per month it is good.Also infant's weight gain is optimal on exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months of age.After 6 months of age we need to start complimentary feeding along with breastfeeds.Freshly prepared home made foodstuffs are preferred over commercial preparations.For first one to two months we should give homemade milk ...

Hello sir, I am Jagruti patil (22). I got married when I was on end of 19. As I was completing my education, me & my husband decided to wait for the child for 3 years. I have completed my education and planning for the baby from December. Now its been 8 months but still nothings there. I am being stressed now. I want the baby soon as I am planning for job and further education. We were usin 'pull out' method to reduce the risk of pregnancy. I have my normal period cycle of 29-33 days. Also, I am underweight having weight 44 kg and my husband is much healthy 82 kg. I was having minor urine infection in early 2012. Plz do help me. Willing to hear from you.

Actually I am 19 years old and I am about 52 kg and 164 cms height and I fell I am underweight and week so I want to increase my weight and become strong. Due to this weakness I usually get lot of dry cough and body heat so how to overcome this problem, Tell me a proper diet(eggatarian) and what exercise I have to do?? hi doctor, I am 34 years old and has poly cystic left ovary. However, i do not have symptoms of PCOS like overweight or underweight and i have my period regularly (about 28 to 29 or the most 30 days). i was prescribed with fertly (clomiphene), please let me know if its ok to take it since my previous ob said my endometrium lining is thin if i take clomid and advised me to take femara instead. But since i am so desirous to have a baby, i wanna try for one cycle fertyl. please respond to my query. Thank you

Hi there. I agree with both your OBs. Clomiphene is the 1st line to induce your ovulation. In order for your endometrial lining to thicken, your doctor may prescibe estrogen containing drugs such as Progynova. Femara will less likely to alter your endometrial lining. Good Luck! ...
