A little over 3 weeks ago I went to the Dr for what he said was a really bad sinus infection. I was prescribed a 10 day course of antibiotics & I felt better. Well the last week Ive had a sore throat on the left side, an ear ache on the same side, a chesty cough I never got rid of and now bad breath. There are red streaks on the back of my throat which I assume are just from the stress of constantly coughing. I called the dr. & told him my symptoms and he seemed unalarmed and prescribed me another 10 day course of amoxicillian. My only concern is that its not a sinus infection because my sinuses aren't bothering me this time around - Im not even congested. Any ideas what it could be? Should I call the DR and make him actually see me or will the amox work? Please no smart-alec comments about dental hygiene -- I brush 3 times a day & floss, so its not because i am not brushing

I think i have bipolar disorder i have done several tests online and everytime so far it says i have bipolar disorder. I am male 40 yrs at India . I had protected sex but unprotected insertive fellatio ( 2 mins ) from a call girl . On the 11th day and 17th day after exposure went for both DNA PCR test and P24 antigen test and all the 4 tests turned out to be negative. Hi, That is true that it gives a conclusive result as told by the company,however since i have not seen many results by myself so i am not very confident since the test is not very old. You may get your test repeated now,just to get it confirmed and you may visit an internal medicine specialist and if you are so anxious you may also have hiv prophylaxis (if the doctor md medicine thinks it right for you). my daughter has been prescribed Serta 25 for a panic attack she had recently while in a boarding school. She is in the final year for IB boards and maybe undergoing stress in preparation for the forthcoming exams. she is a little highly-strung and sensitive girl. With reference to the black-out she had she said that there was no external stimuli ie. pressure of the exams to have caused this attack. I as a mother am not not very sure. Her doctor prescribed Serta 25 one a day in the morning and Sibelium 5 one a day at night for 30 days. I am concerned about the side effects of these medicines. Are they safe to take under the given circumstances.

Hi, As you told that your daughter had a panic attack,she had to be prescribed with drugs to calm her(at least for the acute phase and might be removed after one month and she might not even have an attack later in her life if she can stops taking stress,but this is to be seen later), dose will be decided only on the basis of her examination. I am Novelon for about a year now for suspected Endometriosis (ovarian cysts) and excessive menstrual bleeeding. Although my bleeding is controlled now I am experiencing acute mood swings bordering on anger and depression. Can it be due to Novelon and if so what can I do to minimize this? Hi i m 18 years old i m depression patient and i take depression tablets since 4 years but before 5 months i had operation of stomach cyst of tubercuulosis after operation i take .5mg alprax tablet then aftet few days i take .25 mg tablet but now i m taking half .25ng tablet but now i want not to take these tablet but still i had sleeping problem and breathing problems and too much other so i want u to help me and give me suggestion to get rid of these tablet and live normal life

Dear doctors, I am a research scholar and working on signal transduction studies and regularly use several irritants and ion channel blockers. I am suffering from excess keratosis on palms and soles and some times deep painful fissures from almost two years. It was started as a small thickening patch an left arm and recovered after treatment with moisturizing creams. After that I went to Japan as part of my research programme and one nurse given me creams with anti-fungal compounds and urea but the problem was enhanced and started the deep fisures on my soles. I came back to India and used homeopathy medicine for one weak and after that i visited a doctor. He suggested me to apply lemon juice trice daily and use vitamin C along with high doses of antifungal tablets and creams.
