Hi, sometimes it's not so easy to differ chest pain is from heart problems or it's an extracardiac pain. It highly matters how old are you, gender, past disease, trauma hystory, family history etc. Usually if the pain is an anginal, ie comes from diminished heart blood supply, and lasts more than 20-30 minutes, it brings to heart muscle damage, ie miocardial infarction.
