My left wisdom tooth has been growing in side ways, but has not been able to come in fully. It started hurting about two days ago. I did not think anything of it and thought it was just growing in more. There was a flap of skin/gum covering part of the tooth. When I went to brush my teeth this morning, I noticed that part of it (underneath where the skin covered before) was now a blackish color. I got a sore throat and swollen lymph nodes only on the left side of my throat around the same time my tooth started hurting. Are these related? I have a dentist appointment in a week. Is there anything I can do to help it to make it better or ease the pain? It hurts to chew on that side of my mouth and it hurts when I swallow. Will my tooth be okay until I get to the dentist and what will be done by the dentist? Do you think my tooth is infected? Will I have to take antibiotics?

Male 19, just had two teeth out, one extraction has stitches, the other doesn't, the one without stitches has now got a huge blood clot hanging from the sit and is still bleeding, its been almost 24 hours since I had these two removed. How can I make this blood clot small / make the bleeding stop

Hi, It can bleed if stitches are given to you,though not heavy bleeding. It might bleed when you spit or may be otherwise but in drops. You should avoid eating anything hard spicy and also avoid eating from that side where teeth are removed and also don't try and gargle or spit continuously. You can have plenty of fluids directly orally,not by straw. You may also have ice cream and it should go away and you may continue with pain killers and antibiotics for now. 42 yo female. I have an approx. pencil eraser sized lumped on my right tonsil that is flesh colored and in which I can see the veins in. There is a spot of white on the front of the lump I'm thinking could be bacteria. My concern with the lump is that it appears more as a hemroid would, a lump pushed through the skin wall, not as a lump sitting on the skin wall. I have used a q-tip to investigate the lump with no change. It is near the top of the side of my throat above the tonsil where the throat is starting to curve up. It is smooth all around this spot with only this lump coming down from the wall of my throat there, and the flesh color and veins match that of the smooth skin surrounding it.

SIR, LAST LOWER JAW TOOTH HAS BROKEN BUT NO PAIN. THERE IS BIG CAVITY. AND THE LAST BUT BEFORE IS SLIGHTLY BROKEN IN THE LOWER RIGHT JAW. AND THERE IS PAIN IN IT. I SAW A LOCAL DOCTOR HE SUGGESTED ME TO MAKE AN X-RAY OF THE SAME. IS IT NECESSARY TO MAKE THE X-RAY. AND IF I DO NOT PLUCK THE TWO TEETH - SHOULD IT AFFECT IN FUTURE?

Hi.. Im 24 yr old male. i have an habit of masturbation. i think in my school 8th class i did masturbation first time. Hello Doctor this is Emmanuel Nice to hear from you, actually my skin is not extremely very dark but compared to a 'White skin' it is, I'm not very pinkish, but I'm fairer than the other dark people. If I come under bright lights I look fair I don't know what medicine changed my skin colour as I'm not good at medicine. Hi Emmanuel, Thank you for the photographs. The areas you mention - hands, feet, penis and scrotum are naturally darker than the rest of the body. The reasons for this are different. The penis and scrotum are darker because they have a very rich blood supply and this makes the skin darker. No treatment is required or indeed effective here. My 3 year old has bad hives. I believe they are hives like urticaria but he was diagnosed with eczema since he was 1 year old. Now hes over 3 1/2 and it has exploded covering 80% of his body like rashes, bumps, very dry skin. His skin on legs looks like a bad sunburn and regular baths are a nightmare as the water irritates him as well as ANY kind of moisturizer. He look away Lanoline from AMD and spent over $1k in lotions and stuff alone. Food allegies were done and low on corn, wheat, oranges, soy, and few other items. Just keeping him 100% in home with air conditioner set at 68 degrees with air purifier going, new blanket, strict diet IT DOES ZERO. Im so frustrated. Ok, I believe I have read or am understanding from reading on the internet that 3 days after a right femur angiogram that it is possibly a subcuteneous hematoma. See 3 days after my angiogram my right testcle is very tender and sore and the area from the testicle to slighly lower the angiogram injection site. I have a little bruising on the lower part of my penis to the right part of the scrotum. Could this be a hematoma or just accidental damage due to the 30 min press they use after tge surgery to make aure the femur doesnt bleed? This evening i also got a tight constricting feeling on my left femur artery in my left thigh. I have been recently diagnoised with heart failure and no blockage, but with an ef of 12%. I'm a 45 year old male. I need to make a follow up appt anyway so i guess tomorrow I will do that and discuss my syptoms to my Cardiologist. Thanks Craig
