Hi, 9.5 mm gall stone it's a pretty big gall stone. The indications for removing stone are - any stone size which are causing distressing symptoms to patient or any single stone which is more than 1cm or 10 mm. and your mother in laws' gall stone is nearing the same size. I have done ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis and the report i got is LIVER,GALL BLADDER, PANCREAS, SPLEEN and UNRIARY BLADDR is normal. But KIDNEY : Right kidney : 7032mm Left kidney : 7935mm Both kidneys are decreased in size. Renal parenchymal echo texture increased in bilateral kidneys. Cortical indentations noted in bilateral kidneys. No calculi or hydronephrosis in either kidney. PROSTATE :: Size : 373035mm (Volume-20 cc) Increased in size. Median lobe of prostate is enlarged. Can u tell me is it very serious now or in future ?

Hi, Yes the report shows that your kidney size is reduced significantly and you need to get many tests before i can make any comment although rest all other things mentioned in the ultrasound are normal. Hey Doc. I am currently a working pregnant woman of 28 weeks and just recently I was awoken in the middle of the night with a searing lower back pain (with a feeling of a kidney rupture) and it took about 30 minutes for the pain and nausea to go away. I quickly fell back to sleep without thinking about it twice and now i feel completely fine except for some dehydration and fatigue (normal pregnancy symptoms and all) I'm just alittle worried as to what could have caused me so much pain... was it the baby kicking my kidney, or a UTI?

Hi. I get pain in back side of head. The pain occurs exactly above the neck(back side) below the skull. It occurs sometimes not often. I dont know why that pain occurs. As i noted it occurs when i read something in a moving vehicle mostly and in another situations sometimes. If i get that pain i cant bear the pain. Then i take this tablet:- SAP-A(Aceclofenac and Paracetamol tablet). After taking this tablet the pain reduces. This tablet was prescribed by a neurologist once when i met him due to this pain. How can i cure this? I'm very much afraid of it. Is it migraine? or is it brain tumour? Pls help me is it curable??

Hi, It just seems that you might have difficulty in convergence , because you have pain while reading in a moving vehicle and have no other complaint. I would advice you to get vision checked from a reliable centre by an opthalmologist and not by an optometrist , if you were previously prescribed a glass then you should wear them regularly. Avoid reading in a moving vehicle , and do the pen convergence excercise multiple times a day. ...
