I had my lower impacted wisdom tooth removed 6 days ago under l/a had stitches in. I have been in pain since and it has not subsided but got worse the pain is unbareable and is a throbbing pain. I visited the dentist but she says it's not infected but the pain is in the jaw line And up my cheek. I am taking pain relief every four hours and it is still absolute agony please help....

Hi, I am really stressed and don't want to self diagnos and go crazy, but I have had this (pimple, ulcer, follicule infection or chancre on the side of the shaft of my penis. I don't know which one it is. I don't have medical but I am signing up on Tuesday for state medical..... The story is it appear maybe a week after a day and a half masterbation marathon I am embarrassed to say I had. It started as just a burning sensation on the side like I ripped the skin which I have done before. So I just didnt touch it. That was on a Sunday then Monday Xmas I tried to have sex with my lady and I couldn't cause of the pain and burning sensation on the skin. We started and stopped. 3 days after that in the same burning area 1 pimple formed with maybe 2 smaller ones. Very small ones... I I tried to masterbate again and it seemed as if it irritated the area and another one grew. They got to an ok size and where kind of painful. Then they grew and seemed to bust and started to go down. They look some like a chancre or a lesion when it was going down. They itch a little bit I guess that's from healing but I am freaked out. I had a tooth surgically extracted Dec. 20th. It has felt like it has not healed properly. Five days ago I noticed the inside gum (under tongue) back from where the tooth was extracted had exposed bone and is extremely painful. I went back to the dentist today and she said it was not from the extraction, but was a mouth ulcer causing the bone to be exposed. She Rx'ed magic mouthwash and lortab 5mg. I have appt with oral surgeon on Thursday. I am concerned about she didn't give me antibiotics and the surgeon wont give any until consultation. Is this dangerous to have exposed bone? I have lupus and I don't know how this will affect me. Help

i am due to have an operation on my collapsed ear drum, however while i wait my ear infections are getting worse,todays one had me in pain in my cheek teeth and throat and a load of discharge started to pour out of my ear like never before!! what i am scared about is the doctors say if i dont get the operation done my left side of face could drop like a stroke victim and stay like this permanently is this true?

I wonder if you could give direction I dont know whether to go to the doctor or the dentist? I broke a crown about 3mths ago, whicht he dentist sorted out for me but about a mth later I developed a cold and my crown became so sensitive I couldnt close my mouth it felt like it had a pulse and the bone was rejecting the post. after googling I realised it could very well be a sinus infection and got a 10 day course of anitbiotics which helped immensley, but the gum where it connects to the cheek pulses and if I run my finger over the spot I feel as though I am getting an electric shock. It was fine if i didnt touch it but over the last few days the pain has come back and a lump is developing and spreading. the pain is in my cheek bone and around my eye socket, I had a root canal on this tooth over 10 years ago with no problems and the tooth has no odour or any leakage around it

Hello, Your problem seems to be primarily dental. I wolud recommend you to visit the dental proffesional an make an x ray.. From wat history you hav provided it seems the nerve has been damaged and there is infection, pus, developed below the tooth.. hence the wierd senstion... sinus infection may or may not be related to the tooth.. sp kindly visit the dr and take his opinion. Primarily an Oral or Dental Question, The Day before last I developed a small fleshy lump and/or protrusion on the upper, left side of my mouth, on the cheek almost where it meets my teeth/gums. While not particularly painful, it has an sensitive feeling and makes my jaw ache a little. Any ideas or suggestions would help.

My 2 1/2 year old son had the flu and took tamiflu. A week after his symptoms got better he gotta a fever again for 3 days. He developed a large blister on his lower right lp and sores in his mouth. His teeth are sore and he cant drink eat or swallow much. His gums are red and swollen and bleed if we try to brush his teeth or he eat anything hard or crunchy. The doctor gave us amoxicillin but didnt diagnose anything and his mouth is still red and swollen, 6th day. The blister on his lip did not turn in to a coldsore. Its like an ulcer now that it has popped.

My father had black stools (upon test it had occult blood), they did endoscopy and found an ulcer in lesser curvature. they did sclerotherapy. after couple of days the stools were normal in color. he got discharged. biopsy showed H.pylori and he was given h.pylori kit, orafer xt and cobadex since he had become anemic. after 2 days he fell unconscious, pissed in pants and later passed stools brown again. hospitalized him again. occult blood was present in stools from tests. they did endoscopy and found no bleeding from ulcer where sclerotherpy was done. everything normal in the stomoch and in both duodenum. he is still passing brown stools. donot know why ? please give your opinion.

Hi, Brown coloured usually may be even normal because of a little high billirubin content in stools. But there is also occult blood in stools so the blood must be coming from some place(intestines,stomach,duodenum) and it has been seen by a endoscopy that your oesophagus and stomach and duodenum are normal,now there can be blood from other sites, from lower gastro intestinal tract (colon,rectum). However if the occult blood is less or if it does not come again then you might not worry about it ...
