Hello Doctor this is Emmanuel Nice to hear from you, actually my skin is not extremely very dark but compared to a 'White skin' it is, I'm not very pinkish, but I'm fairer than the other dark people. If I come under bright lights I look fair I don't know what medicine changed my skin colour as I'm not good at medicine. My toes, feet, neck, Hands and other private parts like me penis are also dark, I've tried the Vitamin C Calamine lotion Multani mitti allovera face wash drank water used sunscreens accordingly these only work to certain extent and I feel these are meant for people who are looking to improve their complexion and not to restore the original skin colour. I actually look like a South Asain. It took some time may be about a month my complexion became dark. I don't have any other symptoms except for skin darkening and don't have any dark spots either Please advice me with the best medicine. Thanks & Regards Emmanuel

Hi Emmanuel, Thank you for the photographs. The areas you mention - hands, feet, penis and scrotum are naturally darker than the rest of the body. The reasons for this are different. The penis and scrotum are darker because they have a very rich blood supply and this makes the skin darker. No treatment is required or indeed effective here. I am a female aged 19 years old, from Australia and have had a pterygium in the inner corner of my right eye for as long as I can remember. It used to be very very painful but the pain went away and has been gone for the past 5 years. I'm very self conscious of it and am always worrying if anything has flared it up and made it bright red. I refuse to be in photo's, I can't wear eye makeup and I try my hardest to avoid any eye contact with others, which is making every day activities hard. I have people approach me asking if I'm ok because I look like I've been crying, or a few times when I showed up for work I was asked multiple times if I had been smoking marijuana! This is ruining my life and I want it gone. Its not severe, but for cosmetic reasons I want it removed. I've heard there is chance of it coming back worse than it was.. hi.. my LMP was march 22-25 and had unprotected coitus at april 5 (fertile). I took nordette pfizer as ecp 12 hours after coitus. 4 pills 8am and another 4 pills after 12 hours. had withrawal bleeding on april 11 and lasted for 2 days. medium bleeding. (bright red color.) My question is 1.) when is my next mensturation period? and 2.) how to know if iam safe from being pregnant? please help! thank you!
