GOOD MORNING SIR,I NAVEEN KUMAR,I AM JUST 25 YEARS OLD.I AM SUFFERING FROM HYPERTENSION FROM 2 MONTHS,I USED STAMLO BETA FOR HYPERTENSION,TWO WEEKS BACK I MET A CARDIOLOGIST,IN THAT TIME MY BP170/100.PREVIOUSLY IT WAS CONTROLLED BY STAMLOBETA.DOCTOR WROTE FOR ECG&ECHO TEST,ECG TELLS THAT 'RBBB.'&ECHO TELLS THAT MILD CONCENTRIC LVH.OTHERWISE NORMAL.DOCTOR PRESCRIBE BP MEDICATIONS CHANGED FROM STAMLO BETA(ATENALOL+AMOLDOPINE)TO METXL-O(METOPROLOL+OLMESARTAN)&SAID THAT NOTHING TO WORRY ,RBBB&MILD CONCENTRIC LVH WILL BE REGRESS.BUT MY BP WAS NOT CONTROLLED ALL THE DAY IT IS RAISED AT NIGHT TIME.TELL ME YOUR SUGGESTION&IS RBBB&LVH REGRESSED,IF WITH CONTROLLED HYPERTENSION?&I HAVE DONE COMPLETE MASTER HEALTH CHECK UP,ALL ARE NORMAL.TELL ME SUGGESTION PLEASE.THANKSÂ®ARDS,NAVEEN KUMAR.

Hi, Looking at your height you have a perfect weight and bmi. However there can be many other reasons for hypertension. It would take your body a while to settle down with a new anti hypertensive as it has to adjust with your body's metabolism. Now the question regarding lvh(left ventricular hypertrophy). I have done ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis and the report i got is LIVER,GALL BLADDER, PANCREAS, SPLEEN and UNRIARY BLADDR is normal. But KIDNEY : Right kidney : 7032mm Left kidney : 7935mm Both kidneys are decreased in size. Renal parenchymal echo texture increased in bilateral kidneys. Cortical indentations noted in bilateral kidneys. No calculi or hydronephrosis in either kidney. PROSTATE :: Size : 373035mm (Volume-20 cc) Increased in size. Median lobe of prostate is enlarged. Can u tell me is it very serious now or in future ?

Hi, Yes the report shows that your kidney size is reduced significantly and you need to get many tests before i can make any comment although rest all other things mentioned in the ultrasound are normal. But you will have to get your urine report like urine routine and microcscopy,kidney function test,glomerular filtration rate. my wife is suffering from uterine fibroid with prominent left falopian tube as found in sonography done recently.the report is as follows : uterus appears mildly bulky and appx measures 8.4 x 5.2 x 4.4 cms. .it appears slightly globular in shape. it shows inhomogeneous parenchymal echotexture. there is relatively well defined iso-hypoechoic intramural fibroid of appx size 3.7 x3.5 x 2.7 cms seen in posterior myometrium.no obvious degenerating areas or vascularity noted. this lesion is in close proximity to the endometrial stripe.it appears to cause displacement and mild distorsion of the adjacent endometrial stripe.endometrial thickness is appx 6mm .the left falopian tube appears prominent (10-11mm). no other obvious focal lesion seen in the uterus. So, pl. suggest probable treatments.How can she get rid of uterine fibroids?

Hi!! In your case the treatment for the fibroid is only surgical,there is no medicine or diet which can help.Medication which if used causes decrease in the size of the fibroid and they regrow back when the medication is stopped. hello i am maheswari from vellore.suddenly i got a gland in throat so i went to hospital to consult doctor doubts it may be thyroid gland so he asks us to take scan blood endoscope and thyroid test .we too took and now they saying to do surgery .but so far i consult with many doctors someone says no need of surgery it can be curable in medicines itself but rest of them says surgery is must... so i m totally confused either to do surgery or not.can u pls clear my doubts.

can I continue the use Mintop forte 5 % for my pattern baldness ? i have been using this since last 01 month & noticed the growth of bew hairs on my scalp . But of late I am developing insomnia , stomach gas during the night leading to increased heartbeat + increased BP ( happened once during last 01 month ) . Pls. advise . Regards

Hi, If you start using minoxidil(mintop) once then you can' stop it else it is of no use. If you are facing such symptoms like stomach gas,insomnia,increased bp and increased heart beatthen you should go complete medical check up.
