Hello Doctor, For Termination of pregnancy after 49 days have taken 600 mg as a single dose followed 2 days later by 200 mcg of misoprostol as single dose. But still now i did't get periods. Please suggest me. Thanks, Shilpa

Hi, I stared the HCG diet 10 days ago using the drops. I also am trying to have a baby so I had sex three times during the week of ovulation. Last period was on January 8. I have had pregnancy symptoms, five positive pregnancy tests, no period. I did have some spotting but it was brown which makes me think that I am pregnant. I am not sure if it is the HCG drops causing a false positive test. Last night I put some of the drops on a pregnancy test and it was a faint positive. My dr. recommended a blood test and then another 48 hours later. I have poor insurance coverage as I am a business owner, and I don't want to spend the money on the blood tests this early. I usually have a 28-31 day cycle. I am thinking of just waiting a couple of weeks, I live a healthy lifestyle. Advice, sorry to ramble on. Jaclyn

Hi Jaclyn!! your issues as to whether the test for pregnancy is actually positive or not are actually confirmed by the serum beta hcg which if doubles in 48 hours means a viable and growing pregnancy. please get the blood tests for the pregnancy done as told. Also ,i hope you had rhogam after in your 1st pregnancy and after the miscarriage. From last 4 years myn menstrual period got decreased. Ealier use to get for 4 days. after that reduced for 3 days then 2 days and now reduced the quantity also. 1st day 6 to 7 drops 2nd day 5 drops. I done all the medical check up all reports are normal. I am worried that it will get stop. Even myn weight also got incresed feeling more sleepy n laziness. Please help me out

Hi, Mostly the causes of hypomenorrhoea are visible on blood test and ultrasound and if they are not visible,then further tests will need to be done such as mri scan or dilation and curettage and biopsy. I have a 22 month old daughter. She is having fever right now. Today's the first day. Fever is around 102 degrees. I have given her Sinarest paeditric drops 1.5ml. Is that the right dosage? Should I continue with that or should I shift to Calpol Paedritic drops (each ml contains Paracetamol IP 100 mg, colour - sunset yellow). What should be the dosage?

Thanks for your query Sinarest drops contain paracetamol for fever and phenylpropalamine for nasal decongestion. If your daughter is not having any nasal symptoms there is no need to give sinarest drops and these should be given only under medical supervision could be harmful.I suggest you to shift to calpol which is more safe for children.Dose is 15mg/kg.If your daughter is 15 kg u may give her 1.5 ml calpol drops every 6 hourly along with sponging with water at room temperature all over the b ...

My daughter who is 3 months old is sneezing a lot and has a running nose as well since yesterday. Can I give her T-minic drops? Or do you recommend some other drops? Please explain the dosage as well.

Good to know she has some relief in her symptoms.Cough which she has developed is part of the same infection which she is having,no need to worry, continue the same medicine till she is having cough.Remember to exclusively breastfeed her,don't give her bottle feeds which are the source of infections.She will be alright. ...
